    Finally a Knotless video (thats actually bomb) with a hair type closer to mine 💕. I’ve watched so many on here (which were great) but you’re the first video that shows me what it may look like with my texture of hair. Thank you ☺️

    This video was absolutely helpful! I appreciate your tips! I’m more confident to try knotless braids for the first time on my coworker! I’m used to doing the rubber band method but I love how seem less the knotless look and it’s more fitting for different textures of hair

    these braids look amazing. i do have a question though! i’m mixed. italian & african american. my curls are particularly soft. i recently just had some box braids done at home by my cousin! however, they only stayed for a week. my scalp was extremely irritated and i felt something was wrong. when i removed the braids, i lost almost all of my hair. my hair was extremely healthy before the braids and i’m not sure what went wrong, but i really love having braids. any suggestions? i recently did a big chop after the whole “hair” scare. i really love getting braids but i don’t want to damage my hair any further. it’s been a long enough journey already. i was informed to maybe try the “ez braid” braiding hair. ill take any help/advice i can get! thank you

      Yes I will say you can use any hair . Maybe your hair is having an allergic reactions to the braiding hair .?Some of my clients will soak their braiding hair in apple cider vinegar/ rinse in leave in condition /water and let it dry before they use it . It helps them a lot and also while you have your braids on, a great hair oil will be your best friend, I have on my site and use for my clients too . Let me know how it works for you and good luck on your braids journey. 💕❤️. www.queensbeautyloungellc.com/product-page/massive-enrichment-growth-oil

    Love this video!! I have type 3b hair which is fine around the edges and nape part of my head. I got knot box braids a few years back and unfortunately, when I took them out my hair was badly broke & finer than before. Since this I’ve had regular cuts & my hair has started to get much healthier.. would knotless braids be better for me this time round?

    • @hilenamisganaw9262
      @hilenamisganaw9262 Před 2 lety +7

      fine hair usually cannot tolerate the tension from extensions, including box braids. although knotless is def less tension than traditional box braids, it's still extra weight that weaker stands aren't resilient enough to hold. take it from a fine-haired braider, it's not a good idea. i had to stop doing them on myself- which was so hard- but I know my hair is benefitting from low manipulation styles that don't add tension (mini braids or mini twists on my natural hair). if you really can't resist the urge, do larger parts and skinnier braids. larger parts will allow more of your own hair strands to support the extensions and compromising with skinnier braids means less added weight from the braiding hair. hope this helps.

    • @QueenssLoungeQL
      @QueenssLoungeQL  Před 2 lety +3

      Wayyy better, trust me on that . 98% of my clients now only do knotless . It’s the healthiest for natural hair in my opinion.

      I had knotless braids 2 years ago. Loved them but I had to take them out after 2.5 weeks because I was getting tiny bumps on my hair line and my scalp felt inflamed. I had a LOT of shed hair as I took the braids out.
