This was just an awesome concert..I loved every moment, every song that w as sung…the energy was everything for me…they looked like they were having a grand time…Ms Ross and the Supremes gave it their all….Ms Ross is so beautiful …her sound is so sweet …I watched this video over and over…thanks for uploading it…did I say she is so beautiful as well as sexy….love Ms Ross…
Saw this show twice...it was AWESOME! Miss Ross was on point! Mary and Cindy would have been nice to see but we wouldn’t have heard them just as we can’t hear these ladies.
I think that's one of the main reasons Mary wanted to meet with Diana before simply signing on blindly. "Look, Diane, Cindy and I are not going to be turned way down and perform in the dark several feet away from you (which Scherrie and Lynda were most of the time... maybe that's why Diana chose them). We want that written into our contracts." I don't blame her one bit. Now it will never be. 😥

Have you got by any chance performances of Forever Came Today, Nothing But Heartaches and In & Out of Love from the Return To Love tour? I know they performed them on certain dates. Rossnumberone2 - And can't forget "The Composer" and "No Matter What Sign You Are". To my knowledge, Diana and the girls have never performed those live, either.
They never performed 'The Composer' live, they performed 'No Matter What Sign You Are' at the Ed Sullivan show. They didn't perform any of them at The Return To Love tour.
One of the major regrets. I put off seeing the show in CT, and the Boston show was canceled. I was done. Then, the remaining of the tour was canceled. Reviewing Supreme's repertoire, I found these songs to be challenging vocally. I have never heard anyone "cover" Diana Ross and the Supremes with the precision and melody integrity they demonstrated throughout their career. As a singer and a vocal professional throughout my 30-year career with singers, I would assign these songs to sopranos, and I remember the two or three times a singer met the standard. Those national signers who covered either the Supremes or Diana Ross always over-sang the songs or attempted to riff their way through a subtle but challenging composition. Overcooked or undercooked food tastes nasty. Diana Ross and Aretha are the mantles upon which famous Black musicians of a popular black sound represent the elegance, dignity, and soul of a nation and a people. The two of them covered the waterfront. There are others of superb ability. Diana Ross, as of the writing of this note, is alive, healthy, and singing worldwide. They both have international catalogs and few public scandals. They covered all styles of music but were prudent to stay in the lane they had created, molded, and secured.
