This one has auto video switcher like Vr1 hd?
Is this new? Seems just as good as the VR-50. What is the main difference?

Yes, there is a big difference on feature set of the VR-50HD compared to the VR-4HD. The VR-50HD has Larger touch screen (7 inch), 4 SDI, 4 HDMI, 2 RGB and 2 composite video inputs, full scaling on every input/output, AUX Bus, 4 layers of composition (3 layers/key/Pip plus background source). The VR-4HD is really great value for the feature set, but doesn't have all of the Pro features found in the VR-50HD.
Is Roland going to come out with VR-4SDI few months later like what they do with V1-HD and V1-SDI? How can you call this a professional board when it comes with HDMI inputs only? I will only buy if Roland should come out with SDI version.
Hi Kenny - Yes, Roland has an SDI model called the Roland VR-50HD. It supports SDI, HDMI, RGB as well as 2 analog SD sources. It is a larger format (rack size) and also includes 4 layers of composition, AUX bus, and full scaling on inputs and outputs allowing you to mix and match video resolutions.

After the end of the Leviev and Aggie hear from the example, the sound of excellent audio, but the voice of the musician if I want to hear from Facebook if you run a music that will be stereo and have problems.

Hi there, yes we have the best combination in the Pro Version called the Roland VR-50HD. It has 4 SDI, 4 HDMI, 2 RGB, 2 Composite, plus larger touch screen, 4 layers of composition and full scaling on every input and output. I love the VR-50HD for web streaming sporting events.
