Saul is still the king. For himself, not for God's kingdom and people, to keep the power and authority he has, he uses all of his strength to kill David, who lives for the kingdom of God and for the people of God. And through that Saul, David reveals the life that represents Jesus Christ and is taking the “royal class” on this stage. This is now the story of David, whom Saul cannot kill and whom cannot be killed by Saul.
