I have not yet had any issues. While the truth is it is illegal for a foreigner to FLY any drone of any size & weight, there isn’t a law forbidding us from having them. If I ever get pulled aside to have my bags searched and a Customs officer says something, that’ll be my defense. Whether or not that helps, we’ll just have to see. Right now I’m in my room at RIU Tequila hoping the sun comes out so I can fly Playacar beach before I go home in the morning.

The morning I recorded at the beach was indeed very windy. Not like that any other day I was there, but it happens.
