Kids need this kind of music these days. A lot of Christian music today is stale sounding to teens and young adults, and this is what will get kids excited to listen to Christian music that resonates with their current culture. Good job Newsboys! Way to do something different to show your range.
People saying that the lyrics are bad, well, this is not whole songs, just choruses, so to me I think that this album based on sound and lyrics is going to the best!! - Big Newsboys Fan

The music is just as important as lyrics. Who buys an album for lyrics alone? No one! there are great songs with no lyrics but words without music is not a song.
This album is going to be amazing. I've had either their Born Again album or their God's Not Dead album in my car always since Born Again came out. When my son was born, every night I would rock him singing "I'll Be" (Born Again album) to him... once he was 1 he was hooked on Way Beyond Myself.... He's been through Born Again, One Shot (he still sings this today), When The Boys Light Up, Miracles, Love Like You Mean It, God's Not Dead, Revelation Song.... Newsboys songs are his nursery rhymes
For those who complain that Christian Music has not much for the dance/workout/exercise crowd, this album as well as mandisa's new release Overcomer got you covered. Some may hate the new sound. But it has been stated that Michael Tait had to deliver on this album to be taken seriously as lead singer of the Newsboys....well, I think this album not only steps up to the plate..it shatters expectations! It is dance/pop but I'm willing to explore it. Sometimes change makes u better as a group.

I agree. It sounds like good "get pumped" music, but where's the rock from Born Again? That album was so solid, through and through. Not just rock, but it had a good amount of pop too. Also, it was lyrically original. This sounds like every other standard "Christian Music" song.
Wow! It's good, but where's the rock from Born Again??? This record is definitely centered on the teeny-bopper, early to mid 20 somethings musically speaking. With exception to We Believe most songs will sound like this. However, for someone who likes to exercise by riding a bike or workout music, this is perfect. I can see why this album by newsboys and Mandisa'a Overcomer are highly recommended to buy together. They sound like close companions to each other. I like it though, if not love it.
I say this as a big Newsboys fan, but by the sample I'm just not really feeling this one. The audio sounds great - love the new "dubstep/techno" sound - yet the lyrics... all I can think of is "I've heard this before". I mean, even the Restart theme is pretty much the same as Born Again, isn't it?
oh dear, from Born again to this! This sounds like an auto tuned over produced, unreal album. The sound has changed just because of what the charts sound like. Not cool, newsboys were just about making their own sound on Born again, I for one am disappointed with this new sound. It's not progressing, it's kinda selling out :S Still love you guys though, im sure this new sound will touch many and the lyrics are still true and awesome. It's just not for me, sorry.

I dig the new electronic stuff. I listen to primarily EDM so this is a good change.

I know right! What happened to the Rock music! now its all pop music. not that I don't like it.. its just that it doesn't sound like pop rock
