Hi! I really like the shots of the ducklings and the mother duck in this video! I just had a quick question, how were you able to get really close to the ducks and get those video shots without the ducks being scared of you (especially the ducklings)?
The mom duck has known me since she was a duckling and I often go by the same area where she recognizes. You can see how she was calling for me in the beginning of this video and other times such as when the ducklings were sleeping. As to why the ducklings aren’t scared, the mom duck was constantly telling them that I am a “friend” which you can hear in the sounds she was making to them. Little bit of animal whispering if that is what you want to call it.

I have a baby duck and its this breed. He was sleeping in my lap until I wasn't even 3 seconds in the video, he jumped up and tried to find the noise
