- Hello~ A developer confirmed that there are 100+ music note locations, so I went through hours of all my music quest recordings and managed to gather 88 different music note spawn locations. If you can't find your last music note, you may be able to find it in this video!

I have read each of your comments, and I've seen that many of you succeeded in completing the music notes quest. Congrats to those that have, and thank you all for your feedback!
VIDEO TOO FAST OR DIFFICULT TO FOLLOW?
Three separate comments notified me that the clips for certain locations were too fast or difficult to follow. If this also applies to you, check out my music quest speedrun video posted on the same day, August 5th. I roughly followed the same general route, and I did not make any cuts throughout it. You can use the speedrun video alongside this guide.

CANNOT FIND THE LAST NOTE AFTER WATCHING THE VIDEO?
Since posting this video, I completed and restarted the quest 5 more times to find more music note locations as a developer confirmed there are 100+ locations. I learned a few things from that experience that may be of interest to you.
1) 1 MORE MUSIC NOTE LOCATION: I found it between Hot Head and Crowned Casuals in 2:51. Right before the clip for that location ends, I face the way out of that area. The music note can be found on the way out of the area on the grassy area next to a tree. It won't be difficult to miss.
2) RESTARTING THE QUEST MAY HELP: Make sure you THOROUGHLY check ALL the locations in the video before restarting. There were viewers who rechecked the locations and realized they overlooked some. Only restart if you are 100% sure your last locations are not found in this video. Restarting means your last note is one of the 20+ UNDISCOVERED locations.
3) REUSED LOCATIONS: I found that 40 of the locations were reused from the same 88 locations I show in the video. I was able to complete the quest 5 more times with no new music locations besides the one I mentioned above.
TAKE A BREAK IF YOU NEED TO
I know how frustrating the challenge can be as I, myself, only managed to complete the music quest on my second try after about 4-5 hours. I was about to pull my hair out from finding that last music note!
If you decide to give up, it's understandable! It's good to know when to stop and focus your energy on other things.

Oh my gosh this is so under-rated for me the musical note quest was extremely hard and I’ve watched other videos trying to help and none of them had the same places as mine but this video helped so much im so thankful because i dident know my last ones could be on the highest building or behind hidden walls and i just realized other people are struggling trying to get 40 notes when this girl had to find 88! And had to keep restarting til she found all 88 im so happy now that i finnished the quest ill defiantly be sharing this with my other friends that are struggling thank u so much :D

Oh no D: Unfortunately, there are 100+ music note locations (confirmed by the developer in one of his streams), but I only managed to find the 88 locations from all of my quest recordings.
If other videos don't help, and you're at your wit's end, I recommend restarting the quest to get different spawn locations! I did that after 3 hours of trying to find the last note in my first attempt and completed it in my second attempt.
