Ciao tutti! I hope you enjoyed this brief glimpse into the dolce vita in Salento. What did you like most: the dream food? Or the dream home? 🙂
Loved both.
I loved both but you failed to mention the price of the home.
Absolutely gorgeous! The food and the architecture! 💖
Beautifully produced videos! Can I ask you, what seasonality do you see in how many houses come out on the market?
Very nice building! Thank you for putting the price in the description.
We love vaulted ceiling homes (no beams). We love the house, has so much potential. How wonderful go have such a great chef in the town. Thank you for finding. ❤
Thanks for covering “modern Italian food” on this episode as I have never been a big believer in modernising Italian cuisine. It’s easy to get rooted in traditional dishes and then become puritanical about it. Those plates that the chef prepared for you looked outstanding. I went to Il Buco in Sorrento (also a modern Italian restaurant) a few years ago and was blown away what can be produced with local ingredients by a competent local chef.
This is my dream property, I am stunned!
Hi Marco, I really enjoyed the interview with Andrea. You conveyed the vibe of his traditional/modern restaurant. His food looks amazing! Hope I will be able to go there one day.
Thank you for another great video of the different aspects of life that Puglia offers! The region should honour you as one of its modern day ambassadors. Love your videos!
Love, love, LOVE your series! Genuinely thrilled every time I see this pop up on my feed.
I'm watching from India and I show my mum all these videos.......convincing them to jump ship😅.......hope the next video comes out soon...always waiting for more Food and and beautiful homes
What an incredible dish! The chef is brilliant. I must try this
Here's what I would like to know: how do you eat so much delicious food and stay so slender? The house is fantastic, with big rooms and high ceilings. And the views from the roof terrace!!! And the garden!!! Wow, this place is spectacular. ❤
Like most in Italy..smaller plates and a lot of daily walking
I can vouch for Puglian food. It’s astonishingly good. I wish Marco would stop telling everybody because they will put the prices up - and they should because it’s not expensive, I haven’t had one bad meal in Puglia even in tourist traps and mostly I’ve had sensational dishes and exciting surprises. I love this Palazzo, it had me from ciao at the facade. I would make 2 Airbnb down below apartments and live upstairs like a king. To me it’s one of those places that you’d do authentic architecture but modern furniture and leave the rooms neutral coloured with lots of space, no clutter. It needs renovation but usually when you buy an old place you have to do the kitchen and bathrooms from scratch anyway and at 650k Euros and the Puglia incentives to renovate, it won’t break the bank. This is my favourite property Marco has shown, it’s classic, it is symmetrical, it has large airy rooms. ❤
Thanks to its glorious past and the charm it still retains today, this majestic eighteenth-century noble palazzo has all the features to become the home of your dreams and is also perfectly suited as an individual apartment's.
Thanks for sharing ✨
It’s confusing. He says late 1800s which means it’s late 19th century, about 130-140 years old.
I always look forward to your next video. I love Italy, Italian food, and culture. You touch on all points. Your filming is also high quality. Thank you 🇮🇹
This presentation has greater atmosphere with less of a Food focus, which does not mean that a desert session could not come at the time of the conclusion of the presentation, discussing elements of regional traditions, history and ideas of rehabilitations. Thank You!
Thank you for the wonderful insights about country, food and architecture, Your videos are pure dolce vita just magic. 👏🏻 Bravo
Im still drooling after seing all theese lovely tiles.....
My wife and I love your work Marco! The combination of food, architecture and history that you provide in each town you visit serves as a great introduction and usually is the first of many other videos we watch on that town. We plan on visiting Puglia soon to scout out potential towns for our retirement. Many of the places we plan on visiting are towns that you have shot. Would it be possible to get the listing information on this home in Palmariggi? Thank you!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it 🙏!
Sure, shoot me an email to marco@justdreamitaly.com and I’ll send it over.
Grazie Marco! Meravigliosi tutti i due il cibo e il palazzo😍. Puglia e un posto special, vero?
Beautiful video! Very nice touch at the end with a cat exiting screen to beautiful music🙏🏼🥂
Thank you 🙏.
Good to see you back & thanks for a nice video.
Thank you for the amazing experience.
Spectacular palazzo and amazingly delicious looking food. Thank you.
Another great video. I'll be spending a couple of weeks (at least) visiting the towns you suggested in the email and deciding where to buy.
Wow wow wow. Vorrei comprare questo stupendo palazzo. È veramente incredibile ❤
The small corridors on the upper floor, where an improvised bathroom has now been installed, were certainly the former passageways for the staff. This way, the house staff could access the rooms on the upper floor from the kitchen without excessively disturbing the inhabitants or their guests.
It would also be amazing if you could give us an idea of how the rooms were originally used in the 19th century when showing us around. Especially the rooms on the ground floor apparently had no connection to each other originally, but were all accessed from the central hall. Were these rooms originally used for a counting house? Or a similar semi-public use?
First, the food looked amazing. Based on Puglian culinary principles but elevated to new heights.
The highlight for me has to be that noble palazzo. What a dream!
It has Georgian / neo classic symmetry with Baroque flourishes. Internally, it’s stunning too. And the garden - it’s paradise.
Thank you for the history, the delicious food and that palazzo.
Thanks for the video. Would you please discuss about property taxes at some point and any regulations for foreign buyers. Again appreciate your work.
Yes , speaking for us Americanos - we would like to see a "HYPOTHETICAL" ball park annualized cost of ownership , Grazie mille
Absolutely amazing and oozes Salentino ❤
Wow. 🎉 If I had a million dollars, I'd be there with bells on. ❤
So enjoy watching your videos. I’m so glad I found your channel love watching the houses because it is a dream to either have a summer home or retire in Italy but I gotta tell you it’s the food that keeps me coming back as well. I always say pick your country by your favorite food and as far as I’m concerned, there’s no better life to eat your way through Italy.😂😂😂
Love your videos! Thanks for sharing. From the UK :)
I was so excited to see a new video uploaded by you! I really enjoy seeing what location you’re visiting, the local food and the beautiful homes. Honestly one of my dreams. How can I make this happen.. any tips to work towards this goal?
Beautiful!!❤

Is the little yellow shape on your map, a tarallo? Cute.
Yep! It’s a bit of a running gag 😄.
Great chef!
Incredible episode thanks. Would love the palazzo…
I would like to have seen a bit more of the outside and the roof. The inerior is fab.
Ciao Marco! I could def see myself in this place! That food made me drool!!! Haha.
You up for doing a tour of these small towns? I’d pay you. Cheers Kirk
Finally, the wait is over
Ciao! I'm a new subscriber to your channel & enjoying it very much. Have been looking at properties primarily north of Roma but your videos have opened up the possibility for a property purchase in Italia's southern region. I believe I missed the asking price for this palazzo. Also, it looks as though tge garden is accessible from the adjacent properties(?) Grazie!
Oh wow amazing Apartments & Garden - missed the prices? What were they?
Excellent video. Thank you. Asking price?
The palazzo is breathtaking, wonder if it'll be for sale still by the end of the year, the cost to purchase? I can imagine putting $200K minimum in renovations 😊
Fantastic Marco but where can we find the details about this house for sale please ? Thanks.
Love your videos. How come we dont more,more,more.....😢
😍
Hi Question how much is the Palace selling for ? if its still for sale
I wonder how all the rooms were originally designed? I doubt they were split into multiple apartments.
How must is the palace?
I forgot to ask you how far is this from the sea ?
What is the price of this property?
Can anybody tell me the price?
That 2nd floor apartment is beautiful ❤️ I wish you would have shown more of the rooms you usually do
And less of yourself because I'm not seeing the full rooms and what your speaking of in the rooms you don't show like terrace
So it would be nice if you panned around the rooms right ok well thank you loved these apt especially upstairs 😃🙋
It would be wonderful to find a similar castle or palace/villa on a budget and restore it on a budget as well. Can you please reach out to me? I'm planning to move abroad before the end of 2024. Looking at the area around Genoa

What's the piano music?
La Cathedrale Engloutie by Claude Debussy
DONT EVER USE ITALY AND HITS DIFFERENT IN THE SAME SENTENCE AGAIN
I don't get it?
@@Justdreamitaly yes you do
We're so lucky to live in Puglia 🧡🧡
