i don't no why, but this song makes me cry. it's a melody with an incredible combination of epicness, heroism and courage. sounds truly like a final sacrifice.
For me, it is impending doom that is coming to wipe us out of existence from seven genocidal administrators for the extreme amount of resistance.
It kinda makes me wanna cry, because this played as I watched the beloved map with hundreds of memories- *get sucked into a black butthole*

I think that saying “this is a great piece/composition” is the understatement of the decade. This piece really hits home with the final 4 bars - an epic callback to the days when Fortnite first blew up (OG Classic Music).
It’s really something when you see how each and every point of this piece was crafted meticulously and made in such a way that it hits home without it being Smash Mouth up in your face. Each and every instrument used had a significant role that built up the foundation for how good this composition was (the in-game audio was extravagant to say the least).
Really thinking about the 2 years I spent with this game, I’d say I have no regrets in the countless hours I played in-game despite the lack of focus on: exams, stress, work, friends/people I care about a lot, and life. It goes to show how one game can create as many memories as much as your experiences in real-life; something which the media understates much of the time.
Fortnite: Chapter 1 was undoubtedly one of the best phenomenons of the decade, on par with some of the greatest games out there - of course nowhere near Minecraft, Tetris or Halo!
I wholeheartedly agree. This is by far the best piece of music the people at Epic have ever produced. This remix makes it even better, even more epic than before. The way the music hits you where you can remember all those memories you've made, is amazing. Fortnite is just a game, in which nothing in it is real. But the memories are real, as real as the console/computer/phone that you play the game on. Fortnite is underestimated as hell

3:15 That part gave me such chills as I watched the event live, and it still does. I didn't start playing Fortnite until S3, but still, I have many memories with friends on the old map and it was sad to see it go. Also, as the meteor was falling toward the orb was anyone else reminded of that scene from Disney's Dinosaur when Aladar and the monkeys watched the huge meteor falling from the sky?

3:15 is where the past 8 seasons flashed through my head. From my first kill, first victory, all the events and good times I had. I’ll never forget who made me get the game. My two friends I owe so much. They don’t play the game but they introduced me to a goofy battle royale that made so many memories.
As I was listening to that part of the music I was reminiscing about all the good times I’ve had with my friends and cousins in Fortnite. From my first victory royale on season 1 to The End of Chapter 1
My first clean sniper kill to trying to be a rock with the plastic patroller.
If anyone wants to see some of my memories, search “GamerDVR” and type “Souldude399” then go to clips and go all the way back to my first fortnite clip.
When the meteor came down I thought of all the friends I have made, and all the memories, and fun. From my first game in early season 3 to my first solo win back in season 4, and to my 70th win ever just one week before the event, when my best friend since season 5 got the win getting both of us our final victory umbrella for chapter 1.

This score sounds like something out of Marvel, not Fortnite. When I was in The End live event, I just got *chills* running down me at the part where the meteor came out of the rift in the sky above the Zero Point. This game gets a bad wrap, but _damn_ the music is good.

I keep finding myself coming back here. I keep looking at all the comments saying the emotions they went through during the event. it's really nice to see others who appreciate an event as grand as this one. The view of the meteor falling toward the zero point as the orchestral music plays and it just gives goosebumps every time. the event was made with so much love and it makes me happy to be apart of the Fortnite community
For those wondering who composed this, the man behind the magic at Fortnite is Phill Boucher, a former member of Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions where he was mentored by composer Geoff Zanelli, hence why some find this score similar to Interstellar. He made other scores for Fortnite as well, and his work never fails to impress.

When the black hole showed up and that little jingle played. It took me back to Christmas 2018. My friends were talking about some game called "fort night" or something. They told me to download it and i did. I opened it and i saw the save the world loading screen. Those next few months were the best months of my life. When season 3 came out we were all excited and then season 4 happened. It changed my view of Fortnite. I thought it was a game, but I soon realised it was a platform. With playground being released and all the screen shots being posted of it, it showed how a small game can become one of the most popular things

So many memories packed into one game. I can't really explain why this game. I played minecraft for 10 years, and have MEGA nostalgia over it but fortnite, is for some reason the most special game to me. I started in season 0-1 and played a little bit, came back into season 2, got the pass. and i haven't taken a month break since then.
Whats so significant about this song is that it was played at the end of the original fortnite games final moments all the memories and good times everyone had in that chapter were about to be turned into nothing but memories and no one knew
