It would be funny if someone did a challenge I came up with: “every room is a different room” basically you build a house, make a floorplan without assigning what each room will be, and you have to randomise what type of room every room will be. Like the front door leads into the bathroom etc.

Kayla having to make pre-recorded videos for her holidays makes me realize on how shes my only news source on sims 4 updates. like i didnt understand anything about the future update
The new update is basically sims, who are friends with your sim, will call to ask if they should get engaged, try for promotion in career and stuff. Your sim will be able to also convince them to break up with their partner or look for a job if they're unemployed.

But... Why they resolve white washing... With white people?? I thought the Sims community was better than this. I'm sorry this isn't positive, but us POCs have been waiting for this to be addressed.. and they consult a white person... Typical.. We don't need saviors, we need representation. In the game, and in consultation.

i have an idea for a rags to riches with stanley: get rich with toddlers
if you put sand terrain on a lot, he children or toddlers can play in the sand and it will basically act like a better versin of beachcombing. it might not work as well as dumpster diving, but i would like to see you try this.

The effect used for the ballroom scene of the Haunted Mansion is known as "Pepper's Ghost". The animatronics you see are actually located under the ride vehicles track and then reflected via glass panels. It's really cool. I know exactly which Happy Haunt you're referring to btw and you gave me a good laugh with that reference. My fave haunts in that scene are the duelists.

dying in a sauna sounds absolutely feasible but as a japanese person, dying from pufferfish is also feasible to me 😭 badly prepared pufferfish can kill/make you sick irl!

I remember back then, the game didn't automatically save households like it does now
So I remember spending like an hour and a half making a sim for a chill University run through and like 10 minutes into the game itself- i didn't know murphy beds could kill and well :'^)
I can't believe me, who loves Disney, worked in Magic Kingdom for four years, and who's top 3 favorite rides is Haunted Mansion, did not get the legs under the table reference. I'll be on the lookout for them when I visit next xD

So, I am on a Disney vacation, currently, and the haunted mansion ride got stopped RIGHT at the ballroom and the reference was just *chefs kiss* because I totally get it thanks to some kid who tried to get out of the ride too early 🤣
The most Graphic deaths for me are: Death by meteor (legacy sim died while stargazing while her toddler was surrounded by fire and the house burned down). Death by old age (R2R elder sim died in front of his horse best friend while training for the global competition...I thought he was napping cause I neglected his sleeping need). And Death by Laughing/Drowning
I've just watched fgg make a murder factory to this. Starting my day with the most wholesome sims content.

Fun fact. The ghosts in the ball room of haunted mansion isn't holograms. The ghosts are animatronics in another room under you. When lighted. They reflect threw the mirror infront of you. So you see their transparent reflection in the other room. This effect is called "pepper's ghost"
My sim just died of laughter in the middle of the dancefloor of her wedding reception. Then i downloaded ambrosia from the gallery and brought her back to life. 😭🤣 i almost cried. But now, nothing happened so we are gonna go on our honeymoon to Sulani✌💏👰🤵💕✨
Update: we are in sulani and my other sim just reproposed and are eloping so that i can pretend like nothing happened😭😭😡

funny story about the pufferfish dish. I once wanted to make a big family from the get go. (grandparents, multiple adult kids and their spouses and kids) but I just took a grandma from the gallery. I put grandma in a lovely little house. made everyone else move out to their own little family homes and then played with grandma for a bit. She was hungry I make her cook the only thing she was able to select to cook and then out of the blue she dropped dead into her plate. Turned out the only thing she could cook was the pufferfish and I did not notice. I did not even know about the pufferfish at the time. She was also a new lvl 1 cooking sim so of course the pufferfish would be poor quality so so much for that.

I had something hilarious happen a week or two ago in a new save. I tend to have my sims living in that big apartment with the gnome trait, and ever so often the sim ends up marrying the townie next door, which was the case this time as well. They had married during a festival in the city by one of the food stands and within sim hours of coming home, the townie now husband took a bath, got into hysterical moodlet and died by the bathtub 😂 It was so hilarious and sad at the same time that I actually went to Home Screen without saving, to have him back alive again as he’s truly the soulmate of my sim and I didn’t want her to lose her husband just hours after they got married
