  • This is a very stable tire, and I wish I would've switched immediately.
The Lynx gets me to work and back every day.
    Very dependable.

I put the Shinko 244 on my Lynx and I love it. It handles great on the road and I have tested it a few times and it appears to not want to wobble as bad as the Kenda did. Great off road. Lowered the pedals, put on oversized toepads, took that stupid kickstand off and trimmed the rear fender. Love this machine!

I Love the Shinko 241 too. I cut the toe blocks off with a bandsaw and put the front bumper back on. I like the kickstand so I kept it, lowered the pedals too. I love it too. I get enough range with it so far.

Curious if you can remember exactly what you did that brought on the wobbles so severely that you crashed. What I have learned that has instigated a wobble is a hard acceleration followed by letting up abruptly. I was able to save it by carving and then accelerating, not braking. Now I have learned to do hard accelerations and pump left and right just a little bit and when I am done accelerating is to come up gently. And so far that seems to work. Plus I cannot deal with tire pressure that is high. I run pretty low.

Thats exactly how it was for me. I could accelerate out of em good.
The main cause for me was riding too long, getting too tired in my legs without realizing it, plus the street tire was kind of high, like 35psi.
Since The lowering kit, plus a different mind set of being more cautious, I've had zero wobble issues, and adding the tire made it unbelievably stable compared to before.

Yeerrr! I like your courage on the Lynx! Do you have the pedal lowering mount, what’s your pwm %, pedal slit, and soft\hard settings?

@@trueslumber Thank you! Yes I do. I had 2 bad wobble crashes before it on the street tire.
It helped a lot. Even before the tire change.

I forgot to answer the rest of your question, LOL.
My PWM is set to 80%, and lately my pedal hardness set to soft 14%. 0% tilt, and 50 degree cutoff angle.

What kind of protection do you use Elbows knees gloves head ?
Way too many on the market to decide

IKWYM! I like to buy pants and jacket with pads built in, but its too hot in the summer.
I should be wearing a motorcycle helmet for 40+ mph, knee pads, elbow, gloves, and wrist guards.
I like thin, breathable, padded gloves to go under the wristguards.
Fox brand is cheap, and I also like Hawk, or HWK on Amazon.
