Abel Mutua is a 30 year old father of one. He is the CEO of Phil-It productions Limited. a screen writer and actor. In 2007 he started as an actor on Citizen Tv's Tahidi High, he also wrote for them, ended up winning all the awards.
After citizen tv he took a hiatus from media in 2012. Went into government for a year where he was brand ambassador for Uwezo youth fund. he left government in 2013 and went back to tv where he did Hapa kule news and the real househelps of Kawangware until end of 2015.
In 2016 his company was commissioned to do comedy dramas for Maisha Magic East. So far they have done two shows for them, namely Hullabaloo Estate and Sue na Jonnie.
