Pre-infusion mode is accessed when your machine is plumbed in. You enable plumb-in mode in the app and can set the number of seconds of pre-infusion. This mode uses continuous line pressure from the water connection at around 2-3 bar pressure. Pre-brew mode is used when using the internal water reservoir. This will introduce a small amount of water into the brew chamber and then an adjustable pause in brewing before applying full static pressure. This is very similar to the pre-infusion function in practice.

How a thinner metal shell helps with faster heat time ?
2:00 The red La Marzocco badges on stainless steel and silver satin machines are made of stainless steel too, not plastic.
yep!
@@clivecoffee So why did you say it’s plastic? 😄
@@Jaroslav. we regret the error.
What would make this machine perfect is a mixing tap on the hot water spout. Instead of the 130 degree C splattering water that comes out it.
@@obsessedcloset2638 100% agree. you usually see that feature on more expensive machines like their GS3, Synesso, Sanremo YOU.
Thank you, great video. What model is that grinder that matches the Linea?
Thanks so much. The grinder featured is the LUCCA Atom 75. clivecoffee.com/products/lucca-atom-75-espresso-grinder?_pos=1&_psq=lucca+atom&_ss=e&_v=1.0
What’s the delivery time expected? It ships from the manufacturer directly, correct?
Thanks! Can’t wait to order, hopefully soon
@@Boters14 correct. the lead time from order to ship changes, but right now it’s 8-10 weeks. recommend putting an order in as soon as possible!
What's the difference between the pre-brew and the pre-infusion? (On the app)

If they put a nob near the screen to control all settings that would great. Also the volumetric feature. Thanks in advance for not buying it.
