Okay I feel compelled to point out that Bridgerton predates Gossip Girl by 2 years, so if anything GG is a modern day Bridgerton, but that's because I'm a pedant. Fantastic recap, as always, all the important bits and none of the fluff!
Gossip Girl came out in 2007 and Bridgerton in 2020....
@@GPWfiles The Duke and I was published in 2000, Gossip Girl was published in 2002, the same year as the 4th Bridgerton novel.

I finished watching season 1 and came looking for explained videos. I'm kind of meh on period dramas. The trailer got my attention so i decided to check it out. Its a good show, but kind of hard to keep up with the many characters and subplots. I eventually will end up liking it more on the rewatches. Emma was kind of meh at first. The more times i watch it the more I like it!
