- Today was the first day of Spring semester! I'm so excited for a fresh start. In today's vlog I went to my 8:30am Chem class, worked on some notes for chapter 1, went and got a raw juice, and showed you guys how I made dinner! :) #collegedayinmylife #springsemester

Yep, NEVER buy books at the bookstore unless it’s a last resort! Seriously, these days they upcharge 200% on most books, even used, since they’re not the only game in town anymore (thanks to Amazon, Chegg, etc)

I absolutely love your vlogs! It makes me so less anxious about going back to school this semester. I just got accepted into the nursing program and now I have two jobs to help me pay for my tuition and textbooks. One of them is on campus and the other is working at Target. I’m the type of person that stresses out so easily when I find out information that’s not to my liking but your videos help calm my anxiety. So thank you so much! 👏🏼
Just a warning, Chegg is super cheap but if you are renting, you can highlight in it (but barely). You will have to pay full price if it has a normal amount of highlighting. It pretty much has to be like new when sent back. I use amazon and you can highlight sooo much while renting and they will still take it back no problem. I have had a 800+ page textbook, pretty much covered in highlights and they didn’t charge me full price.
If I have an access code, I will purchase directly from the site when registering for the site and it’s significantly lower price. Like for example I had to buy 2 McGraw-Hill connect access code and the bookstore quoted me $140 a piece, so $280 for both. Bought it directly from McGraw-hill sit today and got them both for $160 ($80 each).
Lastly if it’s not on amazon or an access code then I’ll just get digital which is always much cheaper than print.

Good luck on your spring semester. I love using chegg because cheap and easy used. When I used chegg, I rent e text books on chegg app or chegg website on my iPad. The e- textbooks rent are cheaper than original textbook at bookstore.

Oh my gosh, I'm OBSESSED with Chegg! That's where I get all of my textbooks. When you get your package, they usually add little things in there for you too! I got a Red Bull & a bunch of coupons one time.
You're so right about the baking chocolate chunks. I always need something sweet and mostly chocolatey after dinner and this does satisfy it. Just a little bit and that's all I need. I keep mine in the fridge.

@@linxology I know it's scary but that'll only last for the first day since you won't know you're way around :) what helped me was having my headphones, a map of my campus, & my schedule. & snacks + water!

I actually never went to my orientation lol but if I had, I would've had screenshot or print out of my schedule & make note of how to get to the building my classes were in + where I can get food in case I couldn't make lunch. :)

i haven’t bought a textbook from the bookstore in FOREVER. amazon & chegg all the way. they’re usually significantly cheaper for all the options (ebook, rental, own, rental ebook)

I always use chegg!! It’s the best even to rent books that you won’t need again! Super great in comparison to getting books from your actual school ljke mines which is extra expensive
yeah girl I stopped buying my books through my school's bookstore cause for some reason they think it's okay to charge triple the amount of money than what Chegg charges for it. I highly recommend switching over for the future!!

Sometimes eBay will have pdf files for sale of certain textbooks. I’ve found a couple of my pdf files of my textbooks for dirt cheap on eBay! Worth giving it a try or checking it out lol
I always buy my books from Chegg! You can also put in your isbn and sometimes they’ll buy back some books

I loveeeed using chegg. I sometimes rented them when it was a gen ed course and I knew I would not need for my major.
Renting the ebooks was always the cheapest option for me!

Have you tried clearing the cache in the Pearson app? Basically, just completely delete it in storage then redownload it from the App Store. I’ve had a few apps do that to me where certain things don’t show up unless the cache is cleared. Either way, you got the book and that’s all that matters :P

It's probably too late for you now, but maybe next semester! but I just got an iPad for this semester and was able to find $15-20 pdfs online of all my books that I bought, downloaded and imported into Notability!!!
My Pearson books did the same thing to me and took a week before I could get them online.
chegg is a lifesaver! I always rent my books from them.
Hey! I get almost all of my med school textbooks on pdfdrive.com for free so maybe check that out as they’ll most probably have your chem textbook! (I just download the books on my laptop and then airdrop them to my iPad to use on notability - or goodnotes in your case)

Does the keyboard get in the way when you are laying the iPad flat and writing? I’m debating getting one and it seems like the when you lay the iPad flat you would push down on the keyboard but I could be wrong.

I started the 21st.....Only 10 days ago and WHEW I am already burnt out....It's too soon to feel like this though... #Help! :'(
I use good notes it looks like you don’t realize that you can continuously write without having to scroll to the side with your finger, that’s why the blue pops up on the left, you can continue writing ur sentences that way, maybe you do know that and the video just looked that way but just Incase i thought I’d write this to help u out
