It's fake news! Mikey spilled a tiny splotch and then in the next cut, you can clearly see the water spot after he cleaned his shirt while continuing eating noodles. ;)

The Ferris wheel made its debut at the 1893 World’s Colombian Exposition, also known as the Chicago World’s Fair. (Some of the famous buildings and other structures, especially on/near the University of Chicago campus, are from that World’s Fair.)
The food wheel is a neat tribute to that piece of Chicago history.
Restaurant staff frantically tries to cross off “All You Can Eat” on all of the menus when they see Mikey come through the door. Everyone knows that he is a force to be reckoned with!

I met him when he was in Chicago. It was really cool to see him since I first watched his content in his Off the Great Wall days. I feel like I embarrassed myself, but it was awesome. ^^

Mikey, I know you probably won't be able to read this comment, but if you ever go back to Chicago or if you're still there, you must go to Szechwan JMC in Chinatown and try their Dan Dan noodles. I've only had three in my life and they are the absolute best!!

I like how Christine doesn't cave in to Mikey trying to sell some of the foods like the plum juice (and the dill soup from another video). I feel like you're almost forced to say you like something when someone gushes over it... lol
definitely the sign of a healthy relationship. i've seen mikey have videos with friends who agreed with everything they said or gauged his reaction to a food before reacting to it. i'm glad christine has her own opinions as she should!

Though i have not been back in many years.... Welcome to my hometown Christine and Mike!! There's a beautiful cafe called 5 Arts: no idea if they are functioning. Have some pasteries from Goddess and the baker... And never settle for Lou Manatis via mail- if you need a fix do it in person! There's so many more food places I truly miss! Enjoy and be safe!

Hey Mike, fellow foodie here. I watched a recent video of yours and you mentioned not being able to find a good Korean place around St. Louis. If you venture out to the Illinois side of St. Louis, theres a place called Oriental Spoon in Edwardsville illinois that is VERY GOOD. I love their spicy pork bulgogi. Plus there is a good seafood spot next door called Gulf Shores 😊
Now I see why you put hot oil on everything… it’s so good I just tried it today on my Tonkatsu Ramen noodles😍😍😍😍 literally in love with hot oil

@@Jlowrey8 if you like spicy food I suggest putting a lot ( which I do) but If you really don’t like too much heat I suggest just a tad bit not too much maybe like a penny size.

They sell those crepes in a stall in the New World Mall in flushing. So good. Two stalls away from where you get the fish dumplings.

Always go to chiu quon when im back in chicago. Best asian bakery. Love their baos and egg tarts. So glad you went there to try them!

That BBQ Ferris wheel spot is actually just getting popular in the Chi! I think they opened recently.
They opened back in Feb 2021!
if you’re ever in az, my dad makes great bbq, doesn’t have a restaurant but i’m sure he’d be more then happy to hook you up with a home cooked bbq meal with all the fixins
Omg I went to that ayce BBQ place! That mall is fairly new plus it's not really by the main chinatown plaza so I guess people really haven't discovered it yet

Cooper's Hawk you show up early for wine tasting before your meal which is very affordable and delicious
