I’ve never heard anyone mention this. But The Xfiles was my favorite show in the 90s. I remember clearly living with my boyfriend and his dad in this specific house in 1992 and watching Xfiles. But if you Google it it says first episode aired 1993 or 1994… by 1993 we had moved to our own house and had our son. But I definitely remember watching that in the first house I’m referencing.

I think these effects in memory are happening because we are actually moving between different possible realities. Same reason you lose your keys, then they are right where you just looked. I think it is happening all the time, but we don't notice because most of them are so similar that it feels like we are in the same one.

You are obviously trying to communicate something that isn’t being expressed…. It’s frustration. Meditation helps lol but what would really help is if you discover the “something” creating the frustration. I use to suffer this too but everything changed when my Boyfriend died way too early.

My husband and I watched an episode of Colbert report back in 2010. During this episode Colbert introduced Nikki Haley on his show and referred to her as his sister. They talked about their life growing up. Now, they are not related!!😮 He and I experienced this together and we’re the only ones, we know of, who saw this go down in real time.
Loved this episode! Dolores Cannon highlighted…all lives are existing at the same time which is apparently different than happening at the same time

I just finished watching this podcast and it was amazing! Addressing the Mandela affect, you mentioned Jif (peanut butter) and then mentioned Jiffy. When Jiffy was mentioned I immediately thought of Jiffy Pop popcorn and wondered if that was the connection that you were making. Interesting how one word conjures different references. Wonderful interview.
Never heard of Jiffy Pop popcorn. However, I definitely remember Jif peanut butter being Jiffy. My brothers also remember it as Jiffy.

When I first heard about the Mandela effect I was very surprised that so many people had forgotten about him. I participated in the German student movement in the 70-ties and Mandela was pretty much on everyone’s mind as we supported the anti Apartheid movement. When he finally got out of jail, I already then read his biography which is very instructive. Never understood why so many people believed he had died.
Linguistic Phonetic elision - language change based on sound pronunciation - what is easy to say, e.g. cost co has the elision of the t because t c is harder to say than just c . English as spoken has many phonetic elisions and sound changes.

The main Mandela Effect that makes me feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone now are the changes in JFK's assassination...different car and more people in the car. I had watched the Zapruder film many times, it is completely different now.
