The Grammy Award-Winning Morgan Heritage sat down with Reggae Interviews at Punch Records in Birmingham, UK to explore the new 21 track world music album 'The Homeland'.
With the aim of bridging their parents’ home of Jamaica to their ancestral homeland of Africa, Morgan Heritage brought together the biggest names across Caribbean and African music including Shaggy, Beenie Man, Popcaan, Shatta Wale, Ice Queen Cleo, Youssou N’Dour, Mádé Kuti, Alpha Blondy, Otile Brown, Eddy Kenzo, Busy Signal, Capleton & many more to deliver 2023s must hear world music project.
Morgan Heritage -currently composed of the Trinity: Peetah Morgan, Gramps Morgan, and Mr. Mojo Morgan, all the children of late reggae great the Hon. Ras Denroy Morgan released their debut album 'Miracles' in 1994 and have released 12 previous albums to date.

Great album. Listened to it last night and, as the host pointed out,it was a world music album, not a reggae album. You will love it if you love MH. You wont if you are looking for roots reggae. Salute to both of your longevity in the game. To do an interview with MH 25 years after the first is a milestone. We proud of you! Keep putting it on for reggae.

The Homeland is a big album big up morgan Heritage,am a radio reggae selector in Arusha,Tanzania and am come across the album,very interesting in the way you tried a lot to made featuring with africa musicians,swahili words in there,but the message also is big.give thanks...good to be conscious
