    Yeah, in the original Trilogy Boba Fett had VERY few lines, he was the silent mysterious bounty hunter...very much a western trope, it's why he was one of the more popular characters. You didn't know a whole lot about him other than he was one of the best at his job. IIRC the lines where "He's no good to me dead" when Han was tortured, "As you wish" when Vader said "No disintegrations" when sending bounty hunters after Luke and his friends, "What if he doesn't survive? He's worth a lot to me" right before Han is given the Carbanite freeze, and "Put Captain Solo in the cargo hold" when he has the frozen Han Solo loaded onto his ship Salve 1. Before Mandalorian there was the EU where we found out more about Boba Fett cause he actually escaped the Sarlacc pit in the Expanded Universe..but then after Disney bought Star Wars from Lucas they turned all the EU stuff into Legends material that was non=canon..but Boba Fett was still a popular character and the guys behind Mando are big Star Wars fans so they KNEW a series focused on the Mandalorians would need Fett back since that's where we first heard the name from.

    the schizophrenic voice (though many fans know this, as it's one of his 'traits' he got from his mutation) is that Deadpool's psyche was ripped into two halves: Manic, and Reason. When the comic slide shows up, this is actually a visual callback to how they illustrate when his two 'voices' are talking. One is wacky and wild (Manic) and thusly given colorful backgrounds, and the Reason is typically pitch black with white text, with some specific text to strictly show visually that it is reason talking. They don't really have names though, they're just two alternating, dominant states of mind. You can actually find a lot of this in his video game that was released some years ago. It's actually pretty funny lol

    Best of all for me is that in the original Boba Fett trilogy he only had 5 lines of dialogue and that fact was used during his appearance in Vader rap battle with Hitler. There also had 5 lines. And so on a different story Boba Fett, one of the best characters in the Star Wars universe. By pouring out the disney that destroyed the series and this latest "trilogy"? It's the movie IV, V, VI and the comics show how awesome Bob is. And Deadpool is Deadpool. One of the best characters in Marvel. Which surprisingly has both good, comics and movies at the same time. And that doesn't happen because the MCU is weak.

    Its by my understanding that Boba Fett was supposed to be WAY more badass. But before everything got finalized the was a New Zealand... director I think it was? That saw Boba Fett as essentially overpowered or at least cannon altering for just how awesome he was supposed to be. So the guy ditched like... 80% of Bobas kit and abilities and made him into what he is now.

      Temuera Morrison, the actor who plays Jango Fett/Boba Fett, is from New Zealand. There is a whole Star Wars EU series of books about Boba and his origins. When the Prequels made him a clone of Jango, it retcon the whole series, now referred to as a part of Star Wars Legends. Conon/Cannon has a double meaning. A cannon of course is a big gun, also can refer to a hand gun. Canon: a collection or list of sacred books accepted as genuine. So Morrison played Jango and f*** up the books.

      I mean, it’s so obviously blatant that it was likely part of the joke. His name is literally Wade Wilson in mockery of Slade Wilson.

    To be honest he was made as a rip off. Even the name is meant to be a blatant callback to Deathstroke. One is Wade Wilson and the other is Slade Wilson

    @juba0306 Před 2 lety

    No. He absolutely was not. He is an absolute ripoff of deathstroke. A DC comic character. Deathstroke broke the the fourth wall and Deathstroke's real name is Slade Wilson. Deadpools real name is Wade Wilson.

    You can’t kill Deadpool, he can regenerate from a single drop of blood, a lot greater than Wolverine’s powers, you might beat Deadpool in a fight but he will regenerate and then kill you when you are least expecting it

    • @xheralt
      @xheralt Před 2 lety

      Wolverine did regenerate from essentially a single drop of blood, once...but he was in Asgard at the time, the spiritual power of the realm boosted his abilities. Or so we were given to understand.
