Good Lord!! She has got the cleanest taps I think I've ever seen. I've been a tap dancer for 30 years so I can see what she's doing, but I can't do half of it. She is truly incredible!!

@@taramalinen9942 That's literally every tap dance. I teach my students that there are only two steps in Tap: the shuffle and the flap. Everything else is just a variation on those steps, weight changes, and walking.
I love how everyone from the band is smiling as they play the song. You can literally feel how much they're having fun.
I'd be smiling, too, if I had Demi bouncing around in that (or any) dress, some five feet away from me!

Physical performance aside, I cannot imagine how it is possible to maintain this rhythmical accuracy at this crazy tempo.
One detail a lot of people don't think about is that she continues to smile throughout the entire act. That is tremendously difficult.
It is always so boring to read when nitwits make themselves important by insinuating to other people that those are not able to notice what only they, the enlightened ones, are able to perceive.....

I agree, it is very had and I only appreciated it when I started doing tap dancing. Very often you zone out and catch yourself staring into the infinite just to realise you should focus and smile 😂

Did you notice that it looks like her floor is mic'ed? Note cables running out from under it. I'm not saying that's cheating, but I'm sure it makes it easier to record clean sounds.

Do blue tooth headphones get out of sync?? That would drive me absolutely mad. Good thing im poor.
C G whenever mine are low on batteries, the sound lag starts growing. And the Bluetooth in my car is always like 4 seconds out of sync.
@@cg1906 Unfortunately yes, and I can confirm it has driven me mad on many occasions.
The earphones have to have aptX built-in and so does the device to help match up

Ennahdee yeah it doesn’t make much of a difference with pure audio, but often I’ll have to sit in my car for extended times (like while having lunch between classes, or waiting on friends who always show up late), so I’ll try to watch some CZcams, and going through the phone speakers is never quite loud enough, so I’ll have to go through the Bluetooth and suffer (probably should just bring a pair of wired headphones with me though).

Tap is something that needs to make a comeback. Its percussion sounds and rhythmic movements give stuff a nice flair whenever it is used.

@@mixusup It always depends on the person. If she practices every day for hours on end than yeah im sure she would need more calories. If it's more like a hobby tho that she practices like once in a while or like for 15 minutes every day than probably not.
Do fun things and enjoy moving, and you won't worry about burning calories! They will be burned and you won't even be obsessed over it :) Live well

This absolutely incredibly talented dancer just put the biggest smile on my face! She reminds me of a young Liza Minelli looks wise... her smile is ADORABLE.. Her dress and shoes are iconic, and the ENTIRE tap routine was just insanely good! Loooved the music too!

I think it's both. If you want to become a tap dancer you must love and be passionate about tap so that's why I think they look really really happy
