I still loved milk and cheese, but thought of myself as ethical. until a month ago, I realised the health benefits, environmental benefits, ethical reasons and potential solutions to world hunger, and pleaded my mom to allow me to go vegan. She told me that I can go vegan when I'm eighteen. So I started taking small steps myself. On December 15, though, she gave me a surprise. when I woke up, she said something incredibly cheesy (Cashew cheese, that is.)- "Welcome to the world of veganism!"
My middle bro helped me go vegetarian, my elder bro went vegan, inspired by the two of us. Then we both went vegan.

Liberty Rowland The difference is that the animals you mentioned have to eat meat in order to survive. We don´t. Humans can life perfectly fine off a plant based diet, its even healthier. We can make a ethnical choice which animals can´t. We can base our choices on moral, so whats the reason for us to not do that? Again, we don´t need meat to survive, so there is no other reason to eat meat other than it tasting good. Is the taste enough to justify the killing of 56 billion animals yearly, justifing the deforestation and climate change we are causing with animal agriculture? I don´t think so.

Patrick: potatoes, rice, beans, grains, bread etc. are cheap. so that you can afford veggies and fruit as well as supplement b12 and vit. d. set your priorities straight. for your own good and health. go vegan and be savvy about it.
