    Does the bottom of the new bricks require a foundation as such? or just a straight forward bricking. And do we need to let the council know? or getting planning permission?

    Morning Stu I love watching your videos you're a real craftsman. I'm about to embark on bricking up garage to create a window for conversion this is my first time brick laying. Do I need to dig deeper footing or can I build straight on to the garage concrete slab.?

    • @Stucrompton1
      @Stucrompton1  Před 5 lety +2

      Wow you’re a brave one. You have to find the thickness of slab most times it’s sufficient

    Bang on Job Stu! Quick question for you, I've got a garage which I want to convert into a room. My neighbour had hers done and they dug a foundation for the wall. Is this something that needs to be done or can you just build the wall on the existing concrete floor?
