- Hello, friends!
Today I am going to show you how to program keys to a new Ford F150 (IV-gen P702) 2022. The procedure requires reading the BCM data. I am using the ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer for this purpose.
First, take the BCM out of the vehicle. It can take a bit of time, but do not worry. After taking it out, open it to reveal the PCB. Open the ABRITES RH850/V850 Programmer software, choose the RH850 processor family. Go to Ford BCM and open the Wiring diagram. Follow the instructions on which capacitors to remove and how to solder the CB501 wires. It is a no brainer, but I advise you to take your time and do it carefully.
Start the Reading procedure and save the BCM data. It goes straight to the server and you can use it for the key programming, but I always recommend saving your data for backup purposes.
Now, once you've read the data, put the BCM back together and install it the vehicle. Open the ABRITES Diagnostics for Ford Offline. Go to the Special Functions menu and select Program Smart Key.
Put the key you want to learn in the emergency slot of the vehicle (it is at the bottom of one of the cupholders under a plastic cover). And it is done! You have programmed the key.
This procedure can be used to program keys for the Maverick, Mustang, Mach-e, Transit and other models using the same BCM (equipped with a RH850 processor).

Super of course there is no conversation. I liked it.
Thank you!
Amazing!!! One day I will buy abrites!!!!
Is active alarm affected by this procedure? Still the 10 minute wait?
Active alarm is really cool because the back of the BCM contains the door code, if you enter it you will turn the alarm off
SO THERE IS NO WAY OF PROGRAMMING THIS KEY THROUGH THE OBD PORT ????????
There is no way, this is why we solved the case in this manner.
With FDRS and a VSP account
VSP is only for GM vehicles. @@ericcharron8396
Does it write the modified file back? I did not notice you have to load anything. Thank you
No, all you need is to read it. Then the modification is finished by OBD.
awesome video... When you read the BCM, and save the file, is there anywhere special you need to save the file? When you go to offline Ford and scan for Pats modules, does the program automaticly load the file you saved from the BCM?
Absolutely not, we read the file, the programmer loads it onto our server which modifies it to allow key programming, we reinstall the BCM back in the car and we go in as if it were any old Ford.
@@twinturbo1989 awesome, thank you...
It's an add key so. Where is the original key?
It is all keys lost because none of the originals are present, you can delete the originals first. It is only "add key" if you use the original.
@@twinturbo1989 okey thanks alek
