- yes youve seen the title! its an animatic! haha! this was a real one too because i actually put my sweet sweet time into this.
so LONG STORY SHORT i divorced harvey to marry shane not knowing ex-spouses has to get their memories wiped to remarry them. i got sad and made this, suddenly my cousin asked for a unmodded version of the game (yes i played an unli gold ver) i deleted the app knowing that the game can do save files and when i tested it and went back to my original modded game, my save file of 4 years grind in the game went poof! i wanted to go for a perfection run in my first gameplay! it put me back all the way to year 2. BUT harvey and i are back being married and i didnt feel to continue making this so i left it unfinished lmao.

I can never dump Harvey on one of my saves, he was my first Stardew husband and I grew attached to the story I wrote around the farmer he’s married to. I started a new save to date everyone else with a completely new farmer.
It’s actually fun to make OC’s from the base game farmers, my OG farmer is an actual committed farmer in her 30’s who’s married to and madly in love with Harvey and they have kids I’ve expanded on as OC’s. That’s the farm flex file, it’s loaded with animals and a perfectly planned out irrigation system for my crops.
Then I have a second “farmer” but he’s more of an OC in the same universe, he’s a chaos gremlin adventurer in his early 20’s who’s a ridiculous flirt. That’s my mining and exploration file.
That is SO real, i've done the same thing on both my Switch and pc versions.
First files - year 4 with marriage, a cute story on how they got together, a kid, iridium tools and sprinklers, Ginger Island mostly done.
Second files - a chaos gremlin who runs around and pretty much exists to torment villagers, fish, and test mods/updates. I random rolled the Switch one and got an all green outfit/hair so i HC that he's a leprechaun lol.
NO CAUSE I DONT EVEN LIKE HARVEY BUT THIS!! THIS MAKES ME CHANGE MY MIND!! HARVEY IS IN TOP 3 NOW!

AUGH yeah i marry harvey every time.
i started a new playthrough for 1.6 and lo and behold romanced him again.
but i accidentally skipped our wedding cutscene.
i was devastated.
spent literal hours trying like 5 or 6 different solutions to go back to see the event to edit my save.
nothing worked.
so. i divorced him. then erased his memories. then started over again.
my first time talking to him he introduced himself and asked if we'd met before. i was immediately heartbroken.
OMG 😭
Noooooo... don't divorce Harvey. His pure soul would be wreck.
Love harvey so much I can't pick other npc aside from him. Multiple saves, all Harvey. He's just so sweet and dork and such a simping husband.
