I'm so excited to see these pictures. Where I live we have 2 different nests, but there are probably more.1 nest is in the swamp at the southern end of our local Finger Lake . Another is in the swampy area off of the river that feeds the lake. It is great when out and about to just stop and watch the pair, closest to me. My cousin and I always watch to see how many heads are peeking over the nest in spring. Thank you😊
I believe it's normally just two but there are exceptions I'm sure. More than two seems difficult for the pair to feed and care for but I'm certainly no expert 😂
I know vultures fly the highest, that owls are the stealthiest, and that falcons are the fastest, but there’s something so majestic and graceful about the way eagles fly. I just can’t name the difference.
We envy them, all birds. God gave them the ability to fly and when i watch them up there in the sky flying, i never take for granted how miraculous that is.
