      That's what hapends when your main writter leaves, you put a more incompetent one in his place while trashing the original story out line for the trilogy just because it leaked.
      They even had to make last minute DLC for MS2 if i'm not mistaken just to make their new story make sense at all.

    • @DextroDNAOfficial
      @DextroDNAOfficial Před 3 lety +102

      @@anelbegic2780 that's just not what happened at all. There's valid story reasons for Sparatus (turian Councillor) being more amenable in ME3. Got nothing to do with "incompetent writers". Drew Karpyshyn was one of many writers who worked on the trilogy, him leaving wasn't as big a deal as people make it out to be. A shame, definitely, but not a death sentence for ME3.
      The Arrival DLC wasn't last minute, and it isn't even integral to the story of ME3. It literally just bridges the gap between ME2 and ME3, giving a reason for Shepard being on Earth. Story works out exactly the same even if you didn't play Arrival.

    • @anelbegic2780
      @anelbegic2780 Před 3 lety +9

      @@DextroDNAOfficial
      Is that why all of ME2's characters basically got shafted and all the ME1 characters took center stage while all the new ME3 characters lack something if not totally suck? Bioware resycled so much from ME1 & 2 while adding little else that stayed memorable.
      Drew leaving, and Bioware chamging the story, also did effect ME3 in a very bad way. His storyline would have implicated the dark energy theory fe ME2 rather than the reapers just being massive morons and having logic breakdown at the end of ME3, they would have come off as more lawfull-evil than just chaotic-evil.
      Also don't lie that the story works our the same, i played ME2 and did arrival bit didn't really pay too much attention to it until ME3 starts and you're under house arrest. Took me abit to actually realize the only reason arrival exists which just makes me hate ot more.
      As for the turian counsiler's reason, sure he had a reason...only after it was too late and his people were going to go extinct...oops. He may not have liked shepard and humans, assuming of course you saved the original council in ME1 that is, but he spends almost every game until his species is in danger in ME3 badgering you no matter your actions. Assuming you killed the original council though, even if nothing really changed (lazy assholes at Bioware really couldn't be bothered honestly) except the dialogue in ME3 when refering to the original council yet all the races are recruited in roughly the same way honestly.
      ME1 & 2 are objectively the better written stories and gameplay wise, unless you started at playing ME3 first, better games mechanicaly as well.
