HOW IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE MUSIC SCORE WHEN IROH AND ZOKU HAD THEIR TALK AT THE FUNERAL! It was the same song iroh sung on the show to his sons grave 🥹
@@Syntell In the original show, Iroh sang it when he was remembering his late son on his birthday while hiding in Bai Sing Si. In the live action, it played during the funeral and when Iroh decided to go with Zuko. I believe it means he thinks of Zuko as the son he lost and is trying to not lose him as well. It's one of those easy to miss things. I think some call the song Little Soldier Boy too.
I love this adaptation despite what the fire nation/ haters think. The thing people miss is it's not supposed to be frame the same. Not to mention not everything that takes in animation translates to real life that well. Most people were ready to hate the moment they found out it was going to be changes. Not me I love what I'm seeing so far.
I loved the show and how they portrayed the characters, specially the actors who play Aang and Sokka they really understood the task of mixing the comedic and light heart with the serious tone this show has. Also the scene of Iroh in the funeral brought me to tears
Hate gets more community engagement. That's why my favorite reviewers who say the show is good, I go into the comments and battle the haters to increase engagement for the algorithm.
Great points about adaptations. I LOVE the cartoon, but I appreciate the live action putting their own spin on things. If they do everything exactly the same as the animation then what is even the point of doing an adaptation? We could just rewatch the show for that. As long as they capture the spirit of the story and stick to the major character beats I’m happy.
Watched the series over the weekend and really enjoyed. I have some minor quibbles with exposition and rushed pacing, but the character interactions, action, story, and overall vibe are great and make this more mature as needed for live action.
Since I saw the overwhelming negativity people had about the Percy Jackson show, I stopped putting validity in what people think online cus they just hate fun! And I’m not gonna let these people stain my personal enjoyment of the show. They can yell into their own voids, but i won’t be listening.

I really enjoyed this episode regardless of some of the hater's say. Can't stop them from being them
I am so happy with it overall. I just hope they do a little better with makeup and wigs next season lololol
@@maureenseel118 Hopefully. But other than that I'm really enjoying the whole experience
@@maureenseel118 I can understand that
Everyones entitled to their own opinions.
i feel like this is how the show has done a great job of making the tone serious instead of comedic. because its a very serious situation!
True. 100 years of war is not a normal thing. Air nomads literally wiped out from existence.
I think you said it very succinctly: If you just wait, there is a pay-off. Just give it a chance! I love the original show -and i loved this too
Much respect to rekkai that was hands down the best take on live action vs the source material
18:11 he did such a good job expressing emotion in such a subtle way
I've loved this new show, even the music has easter eggs. It's so amazing. Did you hear Leaves on the Vine in the funeral scene?
I definitely missed that. What's the meaning.

It was part of that cool mini anthology episode, Tales of Ba Sing Se 💗
I think the ones hating on this show belong to the Fire nation.
For real. They are way too picky.
