Releases are not really my forte, but this one has become a defacto standard trick in the rope flow community. I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone and expand the flow toolset.
Nice work. So hard to continuously transition. I’m just recently making progress in getting the handle to a consistent catch and not threatening my face.
I'm not gonna lie, it took a lot of practice to get to that point. That's why I hesitate to recommend working on Mics, especially if there are other gaps in one's practice (and there usually are)
@@AlpacaFlow it's the spin or "twirl" initiation that puzzles me... I can straight release from e.g. UHM and catch almost every time - like a dart throw / return. I need some crowd pleasing twirl in my mic release... 😃
Impressive. Thanks for sharing your skill
Smooth! You’re really at the top of the game!
Thank you!
love it! beautiful
This looks so hard and you made it so smooth \o/
It took a while to get to that level 😅
very nice thanks 👍

Fantastic!
Tutorial would be good... I can straight release and catch upon return but can't fathom release with spins. Super smooth demo!!
There's no trick/technique to it, it's just drilling to get the timing just right. The better timed the release, the more predicable the return/catch
