He never said caps was better than him! Perkz was by far the best midlaner in EU atm, he left while being on TOP! And became the best ADC in MSI, and best ADC in the west that year. Maybe TOP 3 world
This is what makes Perkz the best - his ability to laugh it away even in hopeless situations. I hope he hasn't lost this in NA! Even Showmaker said he wanted to be like Perkz out of all world LOL stars exactly because of that ability.

What Perkz haters dont get, majority of his montages are from international tournaments, not EU LCS/LEC. He is clutch against likes of Faker, Uzi thats some banger of a player

Yeah, that is super true. Some players have their best plays against bad teams, but the likes of perkz and caps get their greatest montague plays from playing internationally in super clutch games. Like, think of the amount of times a wester team has gotten to the fifth game against a chinese or korean one and gotten just absolutely destroyed. Now think of the amount of times internationally perkz has gotten to game 5 against top tier LPL/LCK teams and been the one to absolutely destroy? This guy is just so unbelievably clutch.

@@joaobrito2653 How is it stupid? He got 3-0 that time. But one match doesn't make someone clutch. He has a 63% wr for matches where his team is down 1-2, that requires him to clutch out a 2-0 from that point. Look at how his performence increases as a trend to match the competition.
I can keep going. But ultimatly it still stands that 1 match in 6 years doesn't prove a trend.

I always forget how much I miss 2019 G2. 2022 G2 is good too, but they just don't have the same magic.

It's not even close. This G2 is literally all mid/jgl and sometimes top, if mid/jgl do bad the game is 100% lost, if they do avarage it's also almost lost unless maybe Caps comes in with some crazy play, maybe also BB but it happens way less. That G2 back then, was a completely different story.
Most memorable Perkz plays was when he was playing Ad carry in season 9
Who remembers his Fizz play at MSI 2017 I think it was? At baron. That was really nice and hype.

i feel like they went with most popular perkz moments rather than his best plays like his solo kill on xiye that same tourney was more impressive than on faker's at msi 2017
Also the "flanking syndra" is one of perkz' best plays by far and wasnt mentioned
It's not flash but him TPing and flanking enemy jgl from ward on enemy raptors is one of the biggest brain plays I've ever seen. No other AD would have done that at that time

You also have to consider that after game 5 and Perkz LB Uzi haven't won anything and most likely this game broke his heart for the game, one of the best players in the LoL history. This gives a massive contex to Perkz's plays in this game.
I think his wrist issues were the bigger part of his career trajectory, but I cant disprove your storyline either :D

My favourite play is S6 G2 vs Fnc... Perkz invating enemy jungle and killing nida with ahri und escaping through tower.

IMO one of the biggest mechanical plays Perkz made was against an Irelia as Kaisa where he ulted into her and perfectly sidestepped Irelia ult afterwards with a stutter step, completely negating it. Was inside enemy base on blue side but I don't remember which team it was against.
First game against griffin at 2019 worlds
perkz talking about the future holding all possibilities when talking about uma jan made me instantly think of a vitality roster with bo, vetheo and uma jan. The hype would be through the roof

why ? they where low key tired of eachother, bb is better than wunder and targamas with a little more scene time can be a more memorable name than mickyX

His Fizz play, his Aatrox play and so many more. I mean people sa he is washed up etc and the guy goes to usa and wins the first split BOOM. Somehow nobody cares when huni, sumday, piglet even the mighty impact did not win at all or it took a lot of time
Yeah my favourite perkz play is as Orianna against Faker at MSI when trick was running it down all game but Perkz refused to lose. That toplane fight was insane.

Skt win their 2nd and 3rd cup with the almost same member (with different superstar toplane) makes them the only superteam that works
@@alfiand9269 Notably, the only ones that work are ones that are already very strong and just swap out one or two roles, rather than a complete overhaul like we're seeing lately.

@@alfiand9269 Yeah but at the end of season , when they build this roaster no one considered skt as a super team. When Skt t1 s have achieved nothing special. It's after winning than we consider them as a super team not when they created the roaster. All eyes were on samsung's players.

Vitality he hasn't played internationally. As for C9 his LB game Vs RGE was great from start to finish but there was no highlight.

underrated opinion: Perkz peak his carrer when he switch to bot lane. He is born to be an adc. His mid is C tier, while his adc is an A tier.
I feel like its an unpopular and wrong opinion. I would not say his mid was a C tier. But yeah his ad was really good.
Kind of revisionist. He was far and away best mid laner in LEC for 2016-17 and Spring 2020. he has for sure fallen off a lot but there was a point of time that no one could argue against Perkz being best midlaner
perkz is still top 3 mid eu even if hes playing with haru who is useless
I think he can be world-class in both roles. He's still one of the best mids in EU.
He might seem better as an ADC just because G2 overall played great in 2019 and the Kai'Sa/Xayah meta fit him well.
I also think a lot of the newer fans just don't know his earlier seasons as a mid laner (2016-2018) where he was extremely good as well.
Perkz hasnt lived up to his previous performances in the past year, but he was still an A tier midlaner. He was considered the best mid before Caps joined, and then the 2nd best. When Caps played botlane for a split Perkz instantly became the best mid again and his synergy with Jankos was superb, perhaps even better than between Jankos and Caps. He has never been as flashy as Caps but he was always a top tier mid. Even this spring split, while he wasnt the best, he was still top 4 or top 5 over all, but in terms of pure laning he was one of the best. If you look at his games against Caps, even in playoffs, Perkz is winning the lane more often than not, even if they ended up losing the game.
Perkz thinks hes the player he is in these highlights but hes way down the hill now lmao
