Samstag, 8. Juni -- Die erste Hälfte des zweiten Tages der Volvo Art Session im Zürcher Hauptbahnhof bestritt das polnische Künstler-Duo ETAM Cru. Mit ihrem witzigen Konzept, den neuen Volvo XC60 mittels Illustration und Malerei in eine veritable Seifenkiste zu verwandeln, begeisterten sie Jung und Alt gleichermassen. Die Art, wie hierbei die Räder des Art Car als auch die des gemalten hölzernen Bolliden fungierten zeugten von grosser künstlerischer Könnerschaft. Die kindlich anmutende Figur des Piloten der Seifenkiste versetzen das Publikum ein wenig zurück in ihre Kindheit.

Volvo Art Session: ETAM Cru en gare centrale de Zurich
Samedy 8 juin-- Le duo d'artistes polonais ETAM Cru a assuré la première moitié de la seconde journée de la Volvo Art Session en gare centrale de Zurich. Leur concept amusant consistant à métamorphoser, au moyen d'illustrations et de peintures, la nouvelle Volvo XC60 en une véritable caisse à savon a su enthousiasmer les petits comme les grands. La façon dont les roues de l'Art Car ont ici incarné celles du bolide en bois peint témoigne d'une grande prouesse artistique. Le personnage, aux allures d'enfant, du pilote de la caisse à savon a pour ainsi dire ramené le public en enfance.

Volvo Art Session: ETAM Cru at the Main Station
Saturdy, 8 June -- The first half of the second day of the Volvo Art Session at Zurich's Main Station was orchestrated by the Polish artists ETAM Cru. Their witty concept of transforming the new Volvo XC60 into a veritable soapbox cart by means of illustrations and painting was enthusiastically received by young and old alike. The manner in which the wheels of the Art Car simultaneously operated as those of the painted wooden racer was testimony to the duo's outstanding artistic skill. The gauche figure of the soapbox cart's pilot had the effect of evoking childhood memories amongst members of the audience.

Gotta wonder how many spray cans the artist goes through. Must be a lot hahaha. This one was very different from the others. I loved the fact it made the car into a piece for an even BIGGER car. hahaha I loved it! Awesome job!
