A question: Will the 3D camera tracker be available as an addon pack for Express?
Poor Tom...
Very interesting method of shooting people. Great tutorial!
Thank you, glad you liked it!
- Javert
@@FXhome Which one?
Fx HOME :-) Great tutorial guys. Looking forward to having more particles simulator videos.
Thank you, glad you liked it!
- Javert
Will you guys be adding the Roto Brush tool as an update in hitfilm pro?
Very silly concept. Love it!
FXHOME @ home? FX@HOME? Just wash your hands and stay safe, team.
Will do, thanks!

Could u guys do more hitfilm express 3d models videos like stranger things maybe. I'm trying to get into VFX like that and I have hitfilm express but no videos.
DJ Blurz there are numerous hitfilm tutorials about different effects from stranger things what specific thing aren't you able to find in CZcams search?
@Fxhome 3:40 no continuous option? Not sure if right word technically.
I guess frame type set to animated would be the main way to go sequentially through the source comps frames.
Say if you wanted to do this effect for a raygun so the "ray" of flower blooms as it travels.
Or have a specific flower type at the start(merigolds) then transition types to end (blood red roses)
Hey! I use Hitfilm pro and I was wondering, how do I change the interface to light mode?
Cool.
New hitfilm pro is coming soon?
Thx
Maybe I missed this, but is there a handle for targets? I.e. where a spot light points at, the target for the particle simulator, where the camera looks at, etc. Anything where there are two points, like a start + end, or location + target. Should make aligning things much easier.
In the properties of a 3D layer there is a drop down for "Alignment." Here you can align a layer to always face a set of coordinates or another layer. Easiest use case would be telling a Camera Layer to always align to a model layer.
Hitfilm University Thx. Will try it out. Hope this works as an (Anchor).
Still, looking for a more intuitive solution with handles, and setting an anchor/target point.
taking notes from freddi I see, thats dope cause now we can learn how to shoot flowers too!
Thanks for the support!

3:40 Particle system > appearance > texture source > set to layer
Set frame type from single to random.
Makes a source comp into a texture Atlas using its individual frames randomly.
This means if you want to art direct this, such as having one petal type more than another, you need to add that image multiple times to the source comps image sequence or just remove other images you want less showing.
Yes, you could change the "frequency" of what particles are selected by changing the durations of individual pics (Axel covered that long ago).
Another option is to use "Single" frame and animate the frame number used, although this is far more useful on sims that emit for more than two frames.
Is this promo sale accompanied with a HF Pro feature update?
I just have 2 questions before i get the Pro version....
1. Does Hitfilm pro support filmconvert plugin?
2. Is there any way to export .hfp file to .xml for dynamically changing to hitfilm and davinci resolve for colour grading?
Anuganesh 67 last I looked .hfp files were xml, but that doesn't mean compatibility as xml is a format.
Question: Why isn't the track option available for me?
You probably need to create a new Composite Shot from the Media panel.
- Javert
Since the new version from hitfilm the programm is crashing, how can I fix that?

Question: Is there a way to make severed limbs? Like some one hits your leg and it gets cut off.
In hitfilm though.
@@deadchannel5070 Without practical effects? Probably some green screen and masking work. You know, have a static camera shot, a photo of the background, a photo of a guy's dismembered leg, and the actual leg being covered in green. You remove the green leg using the keying tools (Color Difference), then fill that empty space with the photo of the background. Animate the photo of the dismembered leg aaand you're sort of done.
@@Janfon1 thanks a lot
Suggestion here!: In Vegas movie software, it's possible to upload many images to fit the exact frame on the timeline/workflow. We have to go in peference and choose the time of each picture we upload. And when uploading, all pictures are placed like, 1 sec or 3 secondes, well, as the preference been set. If you want to check it out (for the programmation team), that may help you for many composite shot you must do for many image (like petals here) (for saving time and not pressing T a lot)! =P
Found a link that might help explaining in detail how it work in vergas movie software!: czcams.com/video/7KK7n5ui2xM/video.html
Thanks for the link!

@@FXhome You're welcome!^^ (''Dev team'', I realize my french sometime need help -_-) ahaha
pollution free🤫
You know you would have to manually sequence things if you had that feature like in after effects :( ..... but it seems like sometime Fx home sure loves to do things the hard way. That's why we are still waiting on shortcuts like s for scale f for feather p for position etc..
