What Weird Al does is nothing like what Leo does. That said, I will say I like this cover better than Al's parody of this song. One of the few Weird Al songs I thought was kind of a miss.
There are more similarities than you think. Many artists considers it a big deal to be covered by Al, and for a generation he is THE cover guy. Leo could end up being a new generation version of that. A highly respected musician that nobody has anything bad to say about that is considered to be a big deal to be covered by.
Yes Leo does Hard Rock/Metal and Al does comedy, but apart from that there are a lot of parallels and to be compared favorably with Al, is high praise indeed.
