- We've seen the interest from you guys in the last few big tyre'd blown car videos we have put up, so thought it would be a wise move to continue capturing these wild rides at each event.
This event did not disappoint, with summer now here in Perth Western Australia track conditions were hot! With the surface temp in excess of 50 degrees celsius and ambient into the mid 30's, it made for some hot action and some insane door car passes.
One of our favourite door cars made an appearance in Pino Priolo and his 1937 Chevrolet Couple Top Doorslammer, this car is bad to the bone and commands attention when it rolls out from under the bridge!
Turn it up as they don't get much angrier than this outside of the Nitromethane classes!

The Aussie drag racing is so much more exciting than NHRA Pro Mod , over here there's such a variety of body styles and even clutch cars , all the best for the new year.

Yeah these cars on a cool day are a handful, the track definitely was a challenge this round - right lane probably sees a little more sun than the left throughout the day (but only just). Was a challenge for most cars and the track staff who tried to keep on top of it all day!

Cheers Legend! We have definitely thought about it, it will probably happen - but right now we just don’t have the funds to setup another duplicate camera rig… hopefully in the near future we’ll be in a position to look at that option a bit more seriously! We’re also keen to start getting some of our incar cameras in these big girls but we’ll just aim small for the short term 👌🏼
After the car goes down the track I noticed some guys will go out on the strip and do a little shuffle like walk (1:10 and 11:26) or mop up certain areas (8:54). What are they doing and why?
The shuffle walk is to see what the grip level is like, and they mop up after just to clean up any excess fuel from the exhausts of the cars or any other small fluid leaks to make sure the surface won’t be slippery for the next car 👌🏼
Hard to know just how fast they are considering they go kilometers per hour instead of miles per hour.
Yeahhh our boards are in Km/h for some reason here at our track 🤦🏻♂️ timeslips show both mph/kmh… anything above 325kmh is 200+ mph
So these aren't even nitro cars..do u guys have a decent field there of nitro or is this a better little cheaper to put on? Love the way its directed burnout stage go,, very nice brent🇨🇦
Yeah these aren’t the nitro cars, but the videos from Nitro Max round one will start going up this week so keep an eye out 😉 Had 4x Nitro cars at this meet but we probably have about 8 Nitro cars in WA at the moment as far as I’m aware 😁👌🏼 In terms of running costs, I’d say they are probably on par depending on how hard they are trying to push the cars in each class

a lot of wtf in this video. 3:18...crew member standing in front of the car,as he pulls him in AND driver is throttling it...SPLAT,same crew member sprays into butterflys and soon as he walks passed exhaust....driver throttles it into his face...NIIIIICE. Every team,crew memebr at starting line. Shorts,tshirts....light man official in full fire retardant gear. WTF????
