Finally got to use some of this surplus ammo... Went through 150 rounds yesterday...No miss fires, no duds...no complaints at all!! Pick some up if you can.
Each ammo "spam can" contains thirty-six 20-round packets. The cartridge has a semi-armor-piercing bullet with a copper-clad steel full metal jacket and a lacquered-steel case.
Is it just me because I love watching people opening up a surplus can of ammunition even though I live in the U.K. and pretty much all guns are banned here & police even seize people’s air rifles!
I can't believe some people would even have to ask if its corrosive or not. Lol. They do their spam cans, if you can still call them that, different than the Russians. In a way I kind of like it, because you don't need a tool to open it, but I've never shot any of it. I don't know why corrosive gets such a bad rap, just clean your weapons and there's really nothing to worry about.

Yes it is corrosive ammo...A little more cleaning after your shoot but just great ammo. Now gone through over 500 rounds and not a single miss fire.
Every time I watch these videos I wonder if some people slash themselves open on the sharp edges of the tin 🇦🇺👍
