jared killed me in the last episode, he was absolutely amazing (and so was rob!!!) and hopelessness in his eyes at the end of the last scene with chuck broke me.
I started this video not really knowing what I wanted to do with it and I'm not very happy with the start of it, but I feel like after a while I found a good story for it and I'm actually pretty happy with it overall!
but I have to admit that it's even sadder than I thought it would be.

one thing that really caught my eyes, sam's body language and the crack of his voice screams uncertainty. the scripts are familiar and we almost always heard sam voicing his hope but this episode showed how sam's prime characteristic broke down through his body language and speech play. Jared padalecki man.... somebody please give him an Oscar.

Omg this is so freaking heartbreaking... gosh this edit really solidified why I love Sam Winchester so much and why he’s my favourite character. He’s the one who “sees the light at the end of the tunnel”, who’s optimistic, who never loses hope or faith in his brother or himself... and for the first time he did lose hope as he saw everyone he had left, all his friends and family, die in the last episode AND THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES WOW. Gosh i really hope he gets a happy ending. He deserves it so much.

It was tough watching Sammy loosing all fight in him, but seeing Dean still fighting for him showed there is still a glimmer of hope he was holding. I also thought that maybe it was less hopelessness and more not wanting his world to end the way the other Earths did, and he looked like he was weighing whether trapping Chuck would be worse than whatever may come, and that was why he couldn't.
What an edit! Jared, that guy is something else. I don't even know what to say about him. He portrayed Sam's loss of hope so incredibly, I don't even have words to describe it. But hope, that's what it's all about right. Sam broke and lost hope, so now he needs someone to come along and give it to him.The one person who can is the one who's always symbolized hope for Sam, hope that he can be saved if nurtured well, hope for Sam's redemption for his past by taking him in, hope that he can bring his mom back, hope that he gave Kaia to fight to get to the other side, hope to save the people in the apocalypse world, hope that he could be brought back to life, hope that he can kill Michael and save Dean, hope that he can be the counterpart to Lucifer. He has always brought hope for Sam, and when Sam lost hope, low and behold, shows up Jack, again, a ray of hope for Sam, as always. His amazing son's gonna be the final solution to all his problems. Can't wait to see Jack come back to Sam as his bright ray of hope...

This was beautiful! Just, such a beautiful understanding of Sam and *just* how much is put on his shoulders... as shown quite literally and painfully at 0:08 - 0:23. In a good way of course. And OUCH... that last shot in slow-mo killed me. SaM nO. I stayed as a ghost to type this. Hunt me down when my spirit becomes restless.
Funny thing, I never saw it as Sam losing hope... rather, making a logical decision with the (obviously questionable yet still believable) information Chuck gave him. We know he's still fighting! ^.^ But a lifetime-long break to process his trauma wouldn't hurt haha

You always choose so amazing songs, many of them are familiar to me. I love this song.
Jared did brilliant job, showing so many Sam's emotions in one episode - his courage, pain, hope, losing hope, fear. My heart broke for him when he lost hope because he was the one who since first episode of season 15 was giving his hopefulness to Dean and now he is the one who need giving hopefulness from Dean.😭 But he is in good hands so there is the hope. Chuck took advantage of Sam's good heart so painfully giving him hard choice between locking up Chuck and take consequences of this choice. If I were in Sam's shoe I think I would do the same thing like Sam did but I'm pretty sure that Chuck was lying about how he seeing ending of Winchesters to take advantage of Sam to ride off the wound which only could disappear if Sam lose hope.

I loved this episode!, And your video of course, First because Jared is amazing, my heart broke in thounsen pecies ;-; 💔
But I just loved the last part, the "Camera play" was fascinating.
After Cas gave Sam the sphere, the Camera Shows Sam up and standing, higher than Chuck, he was Dean and Cas hope, as always, for a second. But Then he fell. With Sam on his knees, they show all of them down, defeated, it even shows Sam in a darker and lower position compare to Chuck. But Dean decides to stand, and while doing his speech, Sam looks up to him, and the camera focus was going from Chuck to Dean at the same high. And Then we have a centred position in which they Show Dean, literally, higer than Chuck and then he goes away.
The transition is just fascinating!! Dean was the hopefull one, ans at the end, this time, it was Dean saying "We'll find another way" word that Sam usually says to Dean. I don'y know, that only episode was amazing
