Not only their rappers are mad, but they all dance like professional dance crew, and they have heavenly vocals.
They are a global girl group. The members are all Japanese but they sing in English, and promote globally. They called themselves Xpop. Becuase they don't fit in the category of kpop or jpop.
They're a group with the core of hip hop and rnb, they listen to these genres most and inspired by many old legends and modern too.
The growth they're showing for their production and music is really visible!
It's been a year since their debut (18-3-2022)
The evidence of this growth is the increasing number of fans consistently! And now they're currently is a hot topic and getting recognition. We're so glad.

also they aren't kpop, that's what most ppl think when they hear about them tho. they are a full on japanese group that is based in south korea, but all their songs are in english bc they aim to be a global group

This is not Kpop or any new kind of Kpop. It's hip hop/R&B.
They are international hip hop/R&B group with all Japanese members and sing in English in their official songs. Other covers, extra songs they sing in 3 languagues English, Japanese and Korean.
There is a K-pop group that have 2 albums completely in English. MONSTA X.
All About Luv and The Dreaming. They have been around since 2015. I think you enjoy them.
XG is not a kpop group, they are just promoting in Korea, but they define themselves as an international group, that’s why all their songs are in english.

There are K-pop songs that are in full English but is marketed as 'English version'. This is the new wave of K-Pop that is entering their own market as well as internationally since K-pop already has a global presence but needs to make a bigger impact. NCT, AESPA, TWICE and ITZY are doing this. Red Velvet's Bad Boy English version was a start for that to see if people will have increased interest towards this type of K-pop. The thing is, in my opinion, I really do think this is SM's next strategy except Simon is heading out first into this new wave. My curiosity is that can the global audience differentiate the K-Pop sound apart from the Western pop songs since 'The Stereotype'(the group that produced Bad Boy) has already mentioned that America's pop songs has to have this fixed sound.
No no no no, they’re not doing a cover of any songs from the 90’s, they are not labeled as a K-pop group either. Their inspirational artists are 90’s artist such as TLC,LaurenHill,Aalyiah etc etc

Kpop is no longer 2009 Kpop. This is the new Kpop. Else all the English version in K-pop songs would've been just considered as 90s and 2010s pop songs.
