Along with the joy of looking through these gorgeous journals with you, I loved your story about belly dancing. That is a wonderful dance for exercise and fabulous for the waist and abs. My sister got into that many years ago (she is now 73) and she loved it too.

Nazy...I had already "picked" my favorite standard size journal from your Instagram photos and waited patiently for them to be listed on Etsy...I was able to purchase my chosen one!! Next I watched this video and it's like you have been in my head...the "Sister" journal is the one I bought! This journal spoke to me of New Beginnings filled with Strength even before watching this video! I will be documenting the journey of finding myself from debilitating medical issues that developed 18 months ago. For me, this journal is not "a darker one" but filled with Light. Thank you! Sorry for the long post but I thought you should know this back story!

When you showed the large spool of vintage thread, I had a thought....that you might set aside a little vignette/still life to make snap-shots of some of your vintage elements. I'm a photographer and always looking for ways to include my own images in any journals. Some if you fabrics, buttons, miscellaneous items would be very pretty to photograph and add a vintage effect, then you'd have the images long after the actual items have gone off to new owners. Just a thought....your work is AMAZING!!!!!!

I love you story. I am the epitome of the “old hippy”. Being born in early 60’s I grew up in the best time I think. My kids always tease me about being stuck in the 70’s, so my journals typically are made with that theme and you really give me so much inspiration. So thank you so much.

Loved the lacy parts and the hidden pockets! Also the handwritten pages from students! The mermaid one is my favourite because I adore all shades of blue. Actually your journal reminded me of a pin I once made with similar colours from a salvaged gift bag. I wonder where it is? :P Thank you for the beautiful journals presentation!

You are my favorite you tuber! I watch a lot, mostly upcycling beautiful items from vintage treasures. Because of you I am scouring all the thrift shops for Little Golden books and others. These Bohemian travel journals are beautiful. I have always loved that type of fabric and the colors of India . I also have a Mexican inspired room. I like to make small books and journals and purses from all the fabric scraps I have, but none as nice as yours!
