Late reply, but JTF2 never confirmed if it took 1 shot or more to make the 3,871 yard kill. I have a feeling it was 1 shot 1 kill because any bullet strike in the vicinity of a very important leader would make the whole scene freak out, giving no chance for a followup shot.
Meanwhile in Australia, Tier 1 Chinese SF are landing in subs off the coast. 2,000 landed so far.

If that was truly a two shot cold bore group at that distance, that is phenomenal accuracy. I can barely stay on a 24" plate at a mile.

It looks like that $12,500 price includes a $3500 scope and $550 bipod. That brings price for the rifle alone to $8450. I don't believe AI is making a 375, and a M200 Cheytac Intervention is $11,700 for the rifle alone. Sure you can build one yourself off a stiller 408 and save $3-4k, but here you pay for a complete system, ready to shoot. If you want to tinker your life away like I do, then that savings is worth it. If you just want to go shoot past one mile, I'd say that extra money is worth the time they spent developing the system.
So we have a $1,200 action, $500 barrel, $2,500 chassis, $500 bipod, probably a $250 trigger and mag for this thing. That brings the rifles total to $5,200 without optics. With optics brings the total to $8,700 in just parts alone. The action doesn't need to be trued because it's a stiller tac408 action with a gunwerks logo on it, so all that has to be done is thread and chamber the barrel, fit the cadex brand muzzle brake and squirt on some cerakote on the barreled action and put it in the chassis which is also made by cadex. So technically they aren't making anything special for this gun they are just throwing parts together and calling it their own and charging way too much for it.
That is a stiller 408 action with a gunwerks logo on it.

The bullet didn't actually reach a height of 153 feel like most folk would think. It's 153 feet from line of departure. Meaning if you were to draw a imaginary line from the rifles bore axis, that line would extend 153 feet above the target.
A "10" for the rifle and the cartridge, a "1" for the music. That's some real ELR!

In 2022 you can easily make that shot with a Ruger precision rifle chambered in 300prc with factory ammo for less than half the cost of that setup.

You can get the CADEX CDX-40 in 408 or 375 CheyTac for a little over $ 7,700... Cadex rifles are 10 times better than gunworks when it comes to long range precision. Just ask JTF2 who made a confirmed kill at 3,450 meters.
ZeroBoostBuick - funny thing...look at the imprint on the side of the chassis...reads “CADEX.” No idea how much of the rifle is native Gunwerks and how much CADEX or other vendors...
look to me like all the parts are cadex components the chassis and muzzle are the bolt looks like it is cadex

Ya know that's actually a good question. Alot of times bullets this big will still be trying to settle in. The yaw could affect the 100 yd zero. You may get 2-3" groups at 100 and 1" groups at 300.

Be mindful of using the word "HAMR." Wilson Combat has a .458 HAMR and a .300 HAMR as the formal name for these weapons.
Ironically, take a look at when Wilson Combat started using it. It was after this video was published... They also used "HAM'R" with an apostrophe.
