YOOO the Battletoads alpha uses placeholder sound effects ripped straight from the GBA Banjo-Kazooie game! You can really recognize Banjo's voice when he jumps.

Was kind of hoping Flashback got featured on here. I do agree, for as much a legacy the series tried to achieve, mixed rotoscope and Disney Lilo & Stitch style environments really don't blend. So crazy that the series got a reboot afterwards in 2013. Would've been interesting to see how Fade to Black and Legends could've fueled a further remastering.
How odd that the Turok game was using Quake III Arena sound effects, wasn't expecting that. Also I dig that Diddy Kong Pilot Prototype, specially how Funky has voice acting and goes full bodacious.
I never grew up with Disney cartoons either but for whatever reason I owned mickeys speedway on GBC and it was surprisingly fun (and frustrating as hell late game)

Full offense that Haunted Mansion demo was INCREDIBLE considering how limited 3D games were on the FUCKING GBA. It's quite an impressive demo; a full 3D platformer on the GBA? Nobody would have tried! Well maybe a few... but it's cool as hell imo. EDIT: also DYNAMIC CAMERA MOVEMENTS LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
i played the PS2 version of the Haunted Mansion and hated it because i didnt know how to get past the first few screens, so i just hopped back to sly cooper and forgot about it
The graphics chip in the GBA was good enough that a lot of developers would go the route of 2D sprites moving around in a psuedo 3D environment. Basically DOS shooter tech in games that aren't shooters.
