I would recommend Abdullah Yusuf Ali translation of the Quran.
Men don’t usually enter the women’s section in a mosque. It’s to preserve the women’s modesty when they prepare (fixing their scarves) for prayers or while they pray. The prayers involve prostrations that’s why women pray behind men, again to protect their modesty.

Can anyone tell me the history of HGia Sophia. Is it not a great Sin by Islamic principles to destroy a place of worship like turning a church in to a mosque. Using religion to conquer other peoples property?
