    Thank you for creating such contents. I'm preparing for interviews by watching your videos as I'm getting practical exposure.
    Quick question for you : if i created a process in version A and one day it got updated to version B . Will my process work ? Can you please give your inputs. I have this doubt from long time and not getting clear answer to this .

    • @MukeshKala
      @MukeshKala  Před rokem

      Orchestrator will not decide anything fir you .. you would have to instruct everything…
      Version A is working and you deploy version B
      … version B would be publish and saved in packages folder as nudget package
      … there would be no impact on version A
      … in your processes tab … orchestrator will only show that B is available but won’t upgrade
      … you need to go and edit the process to version B … same like upgrade .. you can downgrade version … but all you have to do yourself…

    Thank You sir for complete explanation of life cycle of RPA. Assume that you have developed automation process after few days change request came how would you accommodate these in your current automation process..what all places it affects.

    • @MukeshKala
      @MukeshKala  Před 3 lety

      If the change is Small that can be handled by just updating an config or an Asset , let say adding more recipients to an Email - For these we can just Update the Assets and the Process will Work.
      But let say you have a change that requires more Coding Efforts and re deployment then the complete cycle has to be followed , Sharing the below video for reference. Let me know if the video helped

    Firstly thank you for your videos it helped me a lot and I have a small doubt at development phase we have seperate environment and after downloading that package we will share that file to testing team.
    Is this mandatory that environment should be same. Because in unit testing we can't find all the defects right. Here if the tester downloaded it in a different environment it may behave in some other way right?

    • @MukeshKala
      @MukeshKala  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes, correct , In RPA the Dev Test and Prod , the Environment should be same with same version of software and OS . If there are differences , automation might break ...Hence these details are well documented at the beginning of the Project and agreed upon.

    Thank u so much rmukesh sir, does key stroke document providing by client ? or SA/PM? what is the developer role in key stroke document?

    • @MukeshKala
      @MukeshKala  Před 2 lety

      Key stroke document would have details how the process is being executed today .. it will all all the clicks and steps manual process has ..
      This ideally is shared by the business or can be created by the BA with the help of business
      A better way of creating PDD is to use UiPath Task Capture Tool

    Hello mukesh i want to ask one question,
    If our process works fine in the studio but in production it is getting some error , and if we don't want to go to the studio again,and it problem solved or not , what will be the approach as a developer.

    • @MukeshKala
      @MukeshKala  Před rokem

      In production we need to have logs which would give us all the error details ..also we need to have mechanism where the bot take screenshots in failures
      In simple terms we need to have a exception handling framework .. this is available in re framework but as developer we can create custom logs as well.
      Also in production machine we have studio which we can use to be debug
      To know about custom logs refer : czcams.com/video/bT6vqcSi408/video.html
