    #piriformissyndrome #piriformis #hippain
    Piriformis syndrome is a very painful condition, and is often difficult to assign exercises for. In this video, I'll show you my favorite low intensity exercise for threat-free movement to begin with.

    Hi, Dr. Sam! I stopped subscribing to you many moons ago because you hadn’t been active. I am overjoyed to see you are again uploading your fab stuff! 🎉 You may be gratified to know that I still do that ball quadratus lumborum stretch of yours twice a day. Never had a backache since. Very much looking forward to catching up on all your videos. Starting … NOW 🎉

    Thank you Dr. Sam Visnic. This exercise seems to be very effective and easy. They way you explained it made it very clear for the movement of hip joints. I do have lower back pain and also SI problems. I have been suffering for severe pain on right side, very difficult to walk, 5 meters in 5 minutes while dragging right foot and putting all wait on right with 6 inch steps with right. I performed other exerciese and it helped me to start walking slowly on second day, and on thrid day I can walk but standing up from a chair was terrible; could not stand straight; supporrting all my wait placing both hands on thighs and get up slowly. After few exercies to correct palvix nd piriforms muscles, I am able to get up and walk. Thank you for all your tips and exercieses. This is something we can never pay you bak and thank you enough. God bless you and your family. Liked your video presenttion.

    This exercise is SO wonderful. It gets my hip area loosened up while my brain trusts it's safe so the exercise actually soothes and calms that area down. I do it just to feel safe and pain free before moving on to more intensity. Life changing, sir! Thank you so much.

    Thank you! Is this an exercise that is safe to do when dealing with cronic piriformis pain after too many clamshells?

    • @SamVisnic
      @SamVisnic  Před rokem +1

      Yes, I usually begin with this exercise when working with clients that have not done well with previous therapy exercises, notably the clamshell.

    Do people with piraformis syndrome have pain when sitting for long amounts of time?

    I assume the bad leg is the one on bottom based upon the red of the skeleton model.

    • @SamVisnic
      @SamVisnic  Před 2 měsíci

      The red on the skeleton is noted muscle origins. Has nothing to do with pain. The "problematic" hip is the top.
