Great adventure hunt! Congrats Josh! I have killed a couple turkeys next to old tree stands. I don’t know, but I think they use them like land marks. So, if you set up by one, it helps them pin point the sound.

I am new to turkeys but man that looked like a lot of brush between you and the bird! Took him down good though! Good clean kill and beautiful hunt.
Josh def had to sneak that shot in there! His angle might have been a touch different than the camera angle!
I have a place I wanna try out doing this exact same thing. I did something similar during firearm season 2023, shoulda brought fishing rods because the muskys were running big time! Wanna do a late season turkey hunt up north sometime gimme a holler!

@@swostillwateroutdoors I had my dog with me- we had a big buck encounter and I got her on her last duck hunt of the year- when I hunt this area I hunt everything! Shoulda brought rods because I would’ve caught fish all day long🤟
