Another useful tip for improving tone with an optimal embouchure and how to achieve it. I respect your delivery of these tips because I know how difficult it would be for me to have viewers feel I am personally chatting wtih them in a relaxed manner instead of sitting by myself in a room talking to a camera not knowing how I am being received. It seems this comes naturally to you. I get the feeling you are talking with me as if you were sitting in my home giving me a private lesson. That takes a special talent. Great job.

I recently got my clarinet and one of the biggest problems I have is playing notes with the register key. Do you think you can make a video or something about that

Hello, I have a problem that I hope you can solve, because I am still struggling to get it right. When I put the lips in the right position, saying iii, or German uuu, it all goes well. But when the mouthpiece is in my mouth and I start blowing, it is as if the tongue starts living its own life. It closes in the back, blocking the airstream, going up and down in the middle, and the tip of the tongue gets stiff or curls up or down. That is mostly when I start playing. I haven’t seen any video about this, but perhaps you have one? Or is it possible to give just a short answer?
I really enjoy playing in spite of this, but to get that part of the embouchure correct would be a huge leap forward.

It is really helpful to know how it should be and to pay attention to what it is doing but be sure to not over obsess about it. Let the sound be your guide and experiment to find what makes it sound the best and feel the easiest.

I've been playing clarinet for almost 8 years and I have noticed that I have been biting down on my mouthpiece way too much, I don't know what techniques could help me reduce jaw pressure and pressure from my teeth.. hELP
The secret to reducing biting is all about getting the corners in and using the muscles to support the reed rather than biting with the jaw.
A couple ideas to help with that would be to practice double lip to strengthen the corners and top lip. I will do a live weekly warm-up on that tomorrow, and post the replay here for you!
Another thought for the teeth pressure, especially if it is your top teeth, would be to make sure that you are using a mouthpiece patch. I would assume that you are, but there should be a decent amount of pressure from the clarinet coming up into your top teeth that would be quite uncomfortable without a mouthpiece patch.

Ya, I can't think of any professional players that don't use a mouthpiece patch, so it would probably be good to start using again.
