I like the idea of the fireworks collapsing in on themselves and the connection of the song to New Year's Eve: together alone, looking back at the year's news that is actually quite remote ones own safety&comfort and the individual perspective on pressure to create and voice your good resolutions for the coming year. For the video my advice would be to take a theme and visual (eg fireworks, crowd of people) and make it even more central. Keep on making vids to great songs!
Wow, I think I love this video more than anything Phoenix could ever do. And personally, my take on this song is that it's about getting older. Why? Not exactly sure but something about this video really personifies my feelings.
I can relate to what you said. life is about looking at it as a whole and i love videos that put together the moments of trips and such. It's kinda how our brain remembers things later, just the bits and pieces that stand out.
