Was about to add a 4th thing,
"You play the game to win!"
And then I released that's not true in this era.
      that sentence became,
"You play the game for stats."
      A sad reality.

The thing about Jordan is, he was a supremely talented player that was ALSO an overachiever, if that makes sense. He's someone who was born with incredible natural gifts, but he was also the hardest working player. He trained and practiced as if he were someone with lesser skills that knew he had to train to keep up. There are players that are just naturally gifted but don't practice as much as they should because they know how good they naturally are. And then there are players that know they aren't naturally gifted, so they practice and practice and practice because they know they have to keep up. Jordan was both. That's why he was so ridiculous. He was someone who could naturally dominate most players but ALSO trained harder than anyone else. That was almost a cheat code lol.

Of course but those big-ass hands and his superior athleticism had a lot to do with it too. For the record that's how I know if MJ played nowadays he'd be a much better 3-point shooter because of his mentality. LeBron became a better 3-point shooter because you can tell he admires Steph Curry, Klay and these other three point shooters who have evolve the game but you can't tell me Michael Jordan couldn't become a better 3-point shooter because he would simply to it because somebody said he couldn't.

Yeah, sure he's The GOAT. Ultimate Will. Best Fundamentals. Supreme Athleticism.
But there have been many others with some of that. Kobe. Lebron. Bill Russel. Wilt. Kareem. Bird.
What sets him apart for me was how he moved. Dr J was smooth. Vince Carter is the best dunker. But Jordan was just so graceful. You could pause on any video of him playing, and it looked like a set up pose. Like a choreographed dance. Like a poster. It really looked like he was floating in the air.

Also, his finals series were like written. every finals series has some moment you will never forget.
1 - VS Magic's Lakers. This is like passing of the torch. Who can forget that mid-air switch hands layup after 13 straight points.
2 - VS Portland. The Shrug game.
      3 - VS Phoenix. First 3peat. Paxson's 3 pointer. 41ppg.
4 - VS Sonics. Father's day championship. 72-10 doesn't mean a thing without the ring.
5 - VS Utah. Buzzer beater game 1. The Flu Game. Steve Kerr earns his wings.
6 - VS Utah. 96-54 win in game 3. The greatest sequence you will ever see in any sport. 4 of 4 clutch free throws late to keep them in the game. Fast 2 points to get a 2 for 1 possession. The clutch steal. The last shot. The last dance. 6 of 6.
