Het Wilhelmus is sinds 1932 het Nederlandse volkslied. Het is inhoudelijk geschreven als een lied dat Willem van Oranje gezongen zou kunnen hebben, alhoewel er geen enkel bewijs is dat hij het daadwerkelijk gezongen heeft. Het Wilhelmus weerspiegelt Willem van Oranjes tweestrijd inzake de opstand in de Nederlanden. Enerzijds probeert hij trouw te zijn aan de Spaanse koning, anderzijds is hij boven alles trouw aan zijn geweten, dat hem voorschrijft God en het Nederlandse volk te dienen.

Wilhelmus van Nassouwe, usually known just as the Wilhelmus (Dutch: Het Wilhelmus; pronounced [ɦɛt ʋɪlˈɦɛlmɵs] ; English translation: the William), is the national anthem of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the oldest national anthem in the world. Although it was not recognized as the official national anthem until 1932, it has always been popular with parts of the Dutch population and resurfaced on several occasions in the course of Dutch history before gaining its present status. It was also the anthem of the Netherlands Antilles from 1954-1964.
The occasion on which the national anthem is being played is the day of the official opening (actually closing) of the ‘Afsluitdijk’ (Enclosure dam, Europe’s largest dam). One of the most prestigious projects known to have been undertaken by the Dutch people.
First vocal version in 1933? I don't believe! Surely the first recording was sung early 1900. Perhaps it'is the first video of Wilhelmus!

This version was recorded one year and 8 days after the wiliam was addopted. Before 1932 it was the de facto anthem, but still popular(according to the video of AnthemBase). There might be an older version, but not available as mp3 or mp4. I do not think that the state radio/tv would air a de facto anthem.
So it's a good job, first recording (as the official anthem). Also I leave you two 1912 recordings if you want to use, they are the oldest I know.
