Awesome! I’ve been saying for two months that Factor made so much more sense than those $50-70 doordash meals!! Not judging ofc, you gotta do what ya need to, to keep on broadcasting.
We get Factor (the high protein plan) to fill in hearty lunches when we’re all too busy to fix food from scratch.
It’s around $200 a week for 8 meals but that’s so much cheaper than 8 restaurant takeout meals.

@@austynndamron9749 it seems to have passed us! The radar indicated warning ended up as an observed so I’m glad we hit our shelter, thankfully I think it missed us, but it sounded INSANE outside for a minute!

The squall line that went through eastern Nebraska & Iowa was extremely strong. It produced a lot of short-lived tornado along the front line.
Don't underestimate squall lines!
Yeah, me and my cat watched the lightning. After it died down, he still wanted to go outside! Amazingly, nothing was damaged.

North Liberty/Iowa City. Three tornadoes on the ground within 30 miles of me in the last 30 minutes. Local weather weenies need to watch your livestreams and take notes on how to cover live events in a productive manner.

You really should do a video for the Indianapolis area specifically for Sunday. It's Indy 500 day and there will be about 350,000 people outside at the track.

sometimes i get jealous of other states (im in wisconsin) that tornadoes aren't leaving marks of severe ground scouring in my yard.

Even yesterday when it was supposed to be sunny, we ended up with a thunderstorm. I had a crew out here working on staining my balcony and it was supposed to be done a week and a half ago. The weather is just constant.

When will central texas or texas in general start seeing zero storms? This has been crazy and a lot.

I don’t know who would be the best person for this, but I think it would be a good idea for someone to compile a list of essential things storm chasers need to have in their vehicles. It’s awesome having all the chasers and your work is valuable and appreciated but please take care of yourselves and be ready for worst case scenarios.

It’s not a bad plan for anyone who travels, to be prepared with basic emergency supplies, including traction boards.
I’m not sure whether that would have been helpful last night, though. One of his drive wheels was off in the ditch, which was running with water. Since that wheel was spinning freely, his drive train was automatically applying more torque on the other wheel, which just dug it into the mud.
I think if I did storm spotting, I’d definitely have a tow bar installed and possibly even a front bar with a winch.
@@irenafarm I was, but that was not the first time I’ve seen video of storm chasers in the field lacking things, like you said, that you should probably have in any vehicle when you’re out on the road. They take enough risks with their lives as it is, and it would be tragic to survive tornadoes and hurricanes only to fall to something as mundane as the lack of basic safety equipment.
