Both Natsu and Lucy (the blonde female MC) are both the protagonist. Natsu is the Stock Shonen Protagonist and Lucy is the point-of-view character and a Supporting Protagonist.
This is the shonen series where power of friendship is actually justified (not to mention honest about its use) since emotion is a key factor in the power system.
My only real complaint is the amount of censorship since it really downplays how hurt some of these characters get since it lowers the stakes which are already low since Mashima doesn't like killing unless he has absolutely no other choice (he's much like Oda in that regard).

well fairy tail is about friendship and family but it really really good until 100 years quest come out and ruined everthing they made friendship become a solution of everything
